like a few have suggested already, i can see that alot of people will just post random bullshit on the bulletin boards like "hai where can i find dis gunz?" sure some will use it properly for trading or baiting others as a bandit etc. but primarily stupid crap. can you imagine how much there would be a full 60+ person server? -

the problem with the bulletin board idea though is that you would most likely have to be standing near it to put the note up making you a prime target for snipers and bandits. just camp out and watch the board waiting for some sorry guy to come along trying to read or post a note. -
How can you tell if people are cheating?

never had a problem with snipers in elekto or cherno. i have had more problems with other players in and around the buildings than i have with snipers. been playing for a while now and am still yet to find 1 sniper rifle lol. yet i could find an FN FAL :s -
hell even just getting a hatchet, knife, matches a little food and drink can help you last. if you run low on food just kill,gut and cook an animal. then you can go to less populated places looking for better equipment

tips to lose zeds: zig zag up a hill while running, they only walk uphill. when your a decent distance from them, change direction. go into a building like a warehouse or a barn. again zeds dont run inside.

Just go into Arma then click on profiles and make a new profile, name it what you want, then stay on the new profile when you log into dayz. Tada!

sounds great! you have certainly had more luck than me lol! best i have found so far is an FN FAL from a crash site and an M4A3 CCO. lost them shortly after :( still going solo and trying not to kill where possible, only have 1 murder and that was self defence. -

had this recently, I was just outside of cherno and got shot in the leg by some random guy who then ran off trying to kill the numerous zombies that were now chasing him, i bandaged myself with about 2k blood left and started crawling hoping to find the hospital. i eventually found it, just to see that some asshat had put barbed wire along all the glass thinking no one could get in, i crawled to the far right and low and behold! a spot where the barbed wire didnt reach, i almost cried from relief. smashed the glass, got in collected 5 morphine then hightailed it out of there to a field to kill a cow.
