...You gave yourself beans? Pfft. Try logging on to a different server. On one occasion; I had logged into a different server than my main and it gave me the option of making a new char and what not. I left the server, joined another- and I was on my guy again.

Hackers making game unplayable

"If you build it...They will come."(and hack it) At this point the best thing you can do is collect data that's available(ie: name, server, etc.) put it up, and then find a different server. -

Self-Administered Blood Transfusions

I like that you need a partner to give you a blood transfusion; as stated above it nudges you in the direction of teamwork. As for the blood pen idea, I think that cooked meat fills the gap between canned goods and a full blood bag well enough. If you're going to be a loner; you're going to have to work harder to get by. -
Keep your senses keen, and you'll have a chance to fight back. Check your corners, scan a town before running into it, always be looking for a potentional snipers nest/position. Think like your enemy. You'll live longer.

Right and wrong are merely concepts. Everything is relative. This is doubly true in a zombie apocalypse.

First; search bar in top right. Use it from now on. Second; Get a hunting knife, hatchet and matches. Go kill an animal. Gut the animal. Gather wood. Make fire. Cook food. Eat food. Gain +800 blood.

Now it's more of a general term. It's all but impossible to know if someone is a survivor or a bandit. But hey, sometimes in life you just gotta gamble.

I used a loot map originally, but have since just grown to remember the hotspots and where I want to go on the in-game map. Sometimes I will MSpaint a Chernarus map marked with key locations and supply routes I run to send to my friends so they know where they can find me.

Eh. I've been perfectly content with DayZ. I look at it this way: I couldn't be doing it better; so what am I complaining about?

You opinion on zombie aggro range?

I really didn't experience the problems others did with zombie aggro in 1.7.2. I didn't have them run up from miles away, and I managed just fine in the city using my typical cover to cover tactics. -

When I first got the ARMA CO package I had to wait awhile for the OA to verify- you might be having that problem if you just got ARMA.

I haven't personally encountered any noteworthy problems in 1.7.2.3. Then again, my luck would appear to be on the upswing compared to everyone else.

Hitting 'w' twice will make you sprint. Compared to your standard computer game, the controls seem a bit weird. Honestly though, once you've played for awhile it will become second nature while in game. Read over the key bindings a few times and familiarize yourself.

Helping survivors by killing zeds around them

I sometimes like to provide humanitarian sniper cover, but most survivors don't believe my good intentions and work to dislodge/kill me. -
The hourglass doesn't mean you are dead persay; it means you're unconscious. You just have to wait it out and hope you aren't killed during your little 'twilight state'.

I like the idea, but I would say a lower use amount like 2-3. It could be a toolbelt item that worked like a water bottle, or it could be an actual pack you pick up that would have less storage but could store a good amount of water.
