I'm relatively sure getting stuck on loading screen is the fault of some servers because they're sometimes on shite boxes lumped with other servers as opposed to dedicated servers. US 884 loads almost instantly for me whereas a lot of other servers won't let me past loading.

Ever since the last few beta patches I can't launch missions (armoury, SP, MP missions) because my view is frozen in place the map is black and the mission script doesn't load I guess. I assumed it would be fixed in the updates but it wasn't and I don't understand why it does this. Other people have complained about the issue as well.

Literally all I did was install the updates as I did before and launched it as I was doing before. These errors are because something is wrong with the updates, as evidenced by the multiple people reporting the same problem.

That a reply to me? Because it does. Multiplayer and singleplayer are entirely fucked, I can't do anything in them, scripts are broken and DayZ lets me join but I don't see any zombies or players. It's all fucked.

I get this exactly. Error on startup "DayZ requires BAF_Mission_2" or something as well. Reinstalling on backup folders.

Yesterday I was playing fine, but I messed something up after I thought the DDoS was my fault and reinstalled today. I was able to launch it through steam yesterday, but now I can't remember what I did to get that working. I bought ARMA: CO from bistudio.com, updated to build 93965 and everything works fine when launching from Six Launcher, but I want the steam overlay. I tried adding the arma2ao.exe in the ArmA 2 folder as well as the /beta/ folder, the first one works but the servers say I'm out of date ( Red X next to them ). The second causes all kinds of errors, including "failed to create Direct3D 9 device". Note: Everything DOES work with six launcher, this error is only for steam.
