    IF this was an actual game...

    I'd suggest to use the development model they use for Project CARS. It's a bit hard to explain so just look at their website: http://www.wmdportal.com/projects/cars/ Scroll down to "PROJECT CARS" TOOLS & PERKS..." The Game is made by their studio but with feedback of the community as they're able to play at least one new dev bulid per month. Works quite well, the game is getting better and better. :) And the people like the direct contact with the devs. Also you should really not make this game F2P. Ingame purchases make this game Pay2Win and this would be horribly wrong and the death ot the game. >:( The final product should be sold without any additional fees (As you said: "Guild Wars" Style). Just make sure you keep updating the game and support it for a long time and sales will keep comming over a long time. Maybe add some modding ability which can only be used on private community servers to not destroy the vanilla feeling. Thats another point in keeping the sales comming. You can actually see this in this very case with ARMA II and Dayz. :)
  3. Hello survivors, bandits and pseudo zombies. Why is it that so many servers are obviously not in the timezone their server name suggets? Is it because many server admins think they just have to write the timezone in the name but not change the actual system time of the server? Most of the time I only get to play around 11pm to 2am (GMT+1 DST) but I don't want to only see DayZ at night, so I just search for servers where there sould the sun should be shining (about GMT-6 to GMT-10/UTC-10). Most of the time only one out of six servers which have no connection issues or aren't full really have the timezone advertised in the servers name. So please dear server admins, check your servers system time. Make sure to change your servers name if you change the system time. Thank you.
  4. Hi, I am suffering from the issue. I only get this Problem with ARMA II and the Six Launcher. Everything else works just fine: HTTP, FTP connections, playing/hosting all other games I play, Teamspeak... It doesn't even reboot on huge workloads because more than one computer downloads files and the whole bandwidth is used up. But just as I refresh the server list in the Six Launcher or try to connect to a server ingame, the modem reboots and I have to wait for about one minute until I can get a connection again. It doesn't reboot when I'm finally connected to a server, I can play just fine then. Also made sure my MTU is set correctly for my DSL connection (it was wrong before so my router log was spammed with flood detection messages which are gone now) and even tried to priotize the traffic on the ports 2302 to 2305 ARMA II uses within the QoS settings of my Modem. Nothing helps, just keeps rebooting on connecting to a server.
