Will this experimental patch also feature the new player controller and animations? That is the only patch that matters. -
1. Fluent animations and their transition (new player controller). 2. Lag, desync and latency. 3. Fixed collision, as in - guns dont stick through surfaces, cant walk through foliage as if it is not there, cant glitch through walls and get stuck under a building. Overall though - roleplaying material. Animations like smoking, cleaning gun or widdling a piece of wood with your knife. Chairs we can sit on, sinks we can turn on, beds we can lay in. Immersion, which seems like a dirty swear word these days, but above all i want my Day-z immersion feeling back.

Please don't discontinue public hives. I play in South East Asia, where internet is terrible and Day-z popularity is absolute shite. At the moment I have maybe 2-3 servers to choose from that are below 300ping. If you close public hives i will have exactly 0 servers to play on. Let the dupers dupe, i dont mind as long as i get to play in some capacity.

I can second Shadowplay. Foolproof and looks great. Records my Teamspeak and Skype calls too, which is sweet. Glad i have Nvidia card.

Actually working persistence. I want to place a tent and for it to stay there until it is removed by me or other players. Anything less than that is not worth my time. THIS is the reason i have not found any drive to play last few months. There is no end-game. -

@OP So where can i read up about this new engine they are supposedly working on? Last i heard they were just updating the ancient piece of crap engine we have now, and just rename it Enfusion. I am very excited for this new engine now, please, share some info. Dont worry. I will wait. Thats all we have left, waiting. -
I know that there is fuck all we can do, the decision has been made. When all my friends told me to get bent when i told them about the mod i didnt sweat much because i read the standalone will use Arma 3, that engine atleast looks 21st century. I dont know, i just feel slighted, even though i have no right to be so. I didnt pay a dime for the mod, and i really should not feel entitled, and yet i do. I feel like if DICE would announce they will make BF3 on Frostbite 2 engine, and then settle for tried and tested craptastic Frostbite 1.5 Ive spent countless hours playing this amazing mod, we all have. Bugs, hacks and horrible graphics/animations to boot. I hate how WarZ looks, and im afraid Day-z standalone will not be much better. As i said, only time will tell and i sure hope i am wrong.

This is just bullshit. Rocket really pulled a Molyneux here.

Heya guys. I have stopped playing this game for a month now, due to horrible hax and lack of updates. Not complaining though, i realize Rocket is busy. What i would like to get some clarification on, is the bullshit he wrote in the last Day-z standalone blog. What the fuck is this "we will be using Take on Helicopters engine for Day-z standalone"?! What happened to Arma 3 engine, like promised? Really? We get the same lame Arma 2 engine with slight improvements? No, thanks. Ill reserve my final judgement when the first footage starts coming out, but if it is anywhere near as clunky and graphically dated as Arma 2 or even Take on Helicopters engine, im out of here for good. Thanks, but no thanks. If you improve, improve it to 2013 standarts.

Dont fret, people probably did not reply because you are one of many who are as excited as you. The game can truly get the blood pumping mate, what you had was truly gripping but wait until you get in a heated firefight with some other players or get your first headshot with a sniper rifle on target 800m away. Now THAT is a feeling! -
I get no more artifacts, but i never had a big issue with them in the first place. Most annoying thing so far is the constant skin flipping. I have humanity of -20k. I spawn as a towel-head. 5-10 minutes in the server my char flips to regular survior, all stats reset to 0, humanity included. This stays that way until i log off. Next time i log in, towel again for 10 min, then regular again. Im worried im gona lose my gear like this one day.

Logged out yesterday in NE airfield. Login today at Electro beach, in ghillie, no backpack, primary and secondary gone, tools gone. Ammo and bandages remained. Not bothered, just informing.
