To buy a graphics card for a laptop? I know it's not impossible, but task is not trivial at all :D And, actually, NOT every laptop graphics card can be upgraded. Not necessary. Depending on model of card, and video setting, he might get a very playable gaming experience.

On joining I'm always autokicked, with rason like "Admin kick - idling in lobby for too long". I admit I forgot to log out when was AFK for 15 minutes, but to get autokicked from server for that?

As far as I remember this server is set to kick everyone (except for few admin friends) for weeks! Let them test it off the hive. Blacklist it please.

Even when (and if) hive is checked for "unexpected" items, it's still a judgement call if a person is a hacker. Anyway, I referred to logs - logs won't show anything suspicious, and BattleEye won't auto-ban you. CAn't say how many different ways are out there to get a ban though :D

Of course not! Did you read "But only when heated" part? Do I have to chew it for you? My guess is that the way it was before - it wasn't realistic for ArmA2 - WHY ALL BUILDINGS ARE ABANDONED? Why nobody lives in ANY of the houses? When playing ArmA2 - cities don't look populated at all. So they fixed it for ArmA2 and ruined it for DayZ :D

Logs can show if YOU SCRIP-SPAWNED ANYTHING INTO THE GAME. Battle-eye doesn't give a shit what you pick up from a dead body, box, car, heli, UFO etc. Even if it's laser-shooting pink dildo. But if this gun is later found on your body, they might think you are not entirely honest with other players, and we might get new topic with screensots :D

Actually, if poorly insulated, building loses a LOT of energy through windows. But only when heated :D

I think DayZ is TOO SOFT. IRL we can collect stuff, hunt, drive cars, run etc. only until we die. DayZ allows you to respawn. IMO if player dies - he has to buy another copy of ArmA:CO to be able to play DayZ again. Then people will be thinking twice before running through cherno or coming with hatchet to NW airfield. ;)

At this very moment there are OVER 150 locked servers, and most of them are in the hive! And almost all of them have 1 to 4 players on it. Is it time for me to get my own server in hive? You know, to grind for couple of hours, and then me and my friends will come to free servers all packed with AS-50, nvg's, ghillie suits and stuff like that? I mean isn't it ridiculous??

If you want to play ONLY with your friends - host a private server. No need to add it to the hive. If you want to grind on your server, and then come to other server all packed up with top gear - it's, actually, cheating. I'd ban them as well.

After I updated @DayZ via Six Launcher to version 1.7.2.3 from 1.7.1.5, and joined new version server, my character spawned all brand new on the beach. I reinstalled game, to 1.7.1.5, loaded into old server, and my character had all my old gear and spawned in old location. Logged into different server to check that server indeed is in the hive - all was fine. I've read forum on this issue, and updated DayZ again, to version 1.7.2.3. Logged into a server - new character on a beach. Changed server - same new character. Pressed "respawn", went to lobby, logged into another 1.7.2.3 server - stuck on "Waiting for character to create". Pressed "respawn", went to lobby, logged back into same server - new character on a beach. Uninstalled the game, installed the game (ffs it takes ages to download ArmA2 + ArmA2:OA from Steam!!!), installed DayZ 1.7.1.5 - old character with all the gear and in correct position! Damn... Updated the game - spawned on a beach! Now I'm back on 1.7.1.5, playing. Can I please play on 1.7.2.3???

Did that many times on 1.7.2.3 server. Always fresh new character. Then reinstalled game, got 1.7.1.5 DayZ, and old character loads in. But only until I move to 1.7.2.3 again... Beach boy...
