Umm, no. The patch notes say it won't save it to the hive so it just reverts. It doesn't seem to work though because they can still turn you into zombies and you stay as a zombie after relogging. Nothing happens when you have hacked weapons either.

Didn't read anything in this thread but I agree 100% Sometimes this game feels more like quake/unreal tournament on instagib mode. One shot kill to the torso maybe, but a foot shot getting you an instant kill? umm no.

Everyone is a bandit. If you kill someone and your murder goes up by 1 it just means the guy you killed was a fail bandit.

Ah bad luck, relogging is suppose to fix that, it fixes being an animal. No it's not a glitch, a someone uses a script to make you a zombie which makes you a civilian under AI control.

The OP just described it wrong but how was he suppose to know how the script works. It doesn't "take over the mouse" per say but you do lose control of your avatar. Anyway I think the last patch was suppose to somewhat fix this so when you log out and back in you revert back to being a survivor.

Be nice if it were in the patch notes if that's the case. Because at the moment none of the usual sources can confirm this. A little bit of anecdotal evidence isn't enough in a game where hackers are rampant and can do virtually anything.

Tthat's it's real classname. "L82A2 AWS" far as I know doesn't exist in game or real life. "BAF L85A2 RIS CWS" is the british bullpup rifle with a hybrid scope in this game, arma2 and real life. CWS is the name of the sight, RIS is the Grip. AWS just means it's thermal but it's not it's technical name.

Sure are a lot of these thermal AS50s going around. You cant get dayz or OA banned, but many server admins will ban people with hacked gear so best get rid of it.

This is correct. It exists in the game files but has ZERO chance of spawning. Doesn't mean his spawned it himself though, but only an idiot would wear it. Just save the heli and reset the server, if it disappears it's because it's been scripted in since hacked vehicles don't get saved.

Script seems to kill animals and break players legs. Does a beartrap kill animals??

Could have arma2 on 2 different computers or has both steam and retail version on the same computer, or you banned him and he changed his key.

If you can ban people for banditry on your PvE server then so can other admins ban for hacked weapons.
