It's true though, most day z players are arma noobs that don't even know what arma stands for. Often people confuse arma2 features with day z features and vice versa, which always provides a laugh.

This thread makes it seem people don't like bandits. :(

I actually find it pretty weird for alpha mod serving as a testing ground for a retail game that we don't get regular wipes.

It's really a bad weapon. if you want a nighttime sniper get the DMR - it's also a daytime sniper. The NV on the FAL can not be turned off and this makes it a very bad weapon if you intend to play during the day with it.

Some admins have a policy where they ban you for this. But rocket and BE are cool with it.

Script killing is the reason why I don't even leave the coast now. You can just be walking around alone in the wilderness as night and for no reason at all you drop dead like you had a heart attack or something.

Ausarma is pretty strict, if you had a hacked weapon or something they may have banned you over that. Very doubtful it was over banditry.

You won't get banned but if an admin sees you gearing up out of a box on the coast you can expect as much.

Well a hacker can just teleport you while waiting to load in the debug plains, so thats how they managed to do that bit.

This is what happens when you shag too many sheep. The OP is spot on about "Server NZ 04 now has a community of semi-permanent hackers." I caught Mocksey [1TS] teleporting and spawning weapon crates for his buddies. "1TS" is the orcon teamspeak clan that includes an orcon admin.

WW is right, I see hackers there even at breakfast, midnight, etc. And peak times...well I avoid peak times now :)

^ lol. One time I saw the entire server get kicked for "Script Restriction" one by one until it was empty.

It's gotten pretty bad. Now I'm even coming across hackers even on small servers (5~20) and off peak hours. 6:30am this morning I had a guy teleport me to him then kill me on a server with 7 players.

Just so you realise, this is a bad report. No one is going to be banned from a report like this. You have no proof and no names.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm playing a realistic post apocalypse game or if I'm playing unreal tournament instagib deathmatch.

Did you respawn ok? Last time I checked it doesn't save you as an animal or in the debug plains.
