Good luck with that ... I've seen cm giving people the benefit of doubt when players asked for an appeal. He doesn't ban without good reason and usually those who get mistaking ban is by an automatic system and are removed. By QQ you just shot yourself in the foot. Feel free to experiment with scripts on other servers.

After getting hack a few times, not that a cared about dieing in the first place, I looked around for a low population server in where the owner and admin all play the game. Only a few times did they get hacked and when they did they were right onto it, easy to talk to on TS if there was trouble. Now they have a private server up, hacking is a thing of the past, have a good little community going ... heaps of fun. Best way to go until the standalone comes along. It's in Alpha, you will die, this is DayZ ...

You are still making them out to be inexperienced kids who know nothing about admin, which is far from the truth ... ANZ1 was one of the first dayz server's running, I can see why they had set it up. But considering there is now plenty of tutorials out there now, you could be right, it might be time to turn it off ... although the only problem is for the players with large ego's who don't take notice of the rules

yep, arma players tend to be more mature than the regular pvp peps. Flexibility and customization is one of its strengths. It just doesn't sit well with a mod like dayz. I can see why they will be pushing to get the standalone out soon and lock it down ... [edit] - I shouldn't be taking the focus away from what you are doing, I like the idea :thumbsup:

well it looks like you wasted your money by hacking, if it's a global ban then you need to appeal to battleye (good luck with that). Otherwise it going to cost you another $40 ... or you could wait for the standalone.

lol, you don't know anything about ausarma, amateurish is not what I would call them B) White wolf has post the server rules, he would only get permanent from the servers if he breaks them, he will get a temporary ban (I think it can be up to 3 days) if he keeps on talking on the side chat. I'm sure he can access their other servers anz 2/3/4/5, these don't have side chat ... He has not use the ban appeals area on the forums http://www.ausarma.o...ppeals-process/ The reason why they have side chat on anz1 is to enable new players to ask(type) questions about the game and to get to know each other. There have been some debate on turning it off, but the admin has pointed out players can go to their other servers, and new players need somewhere to go when they are learning... The admins are very tolerant and would not ban someone without good cause ...

I've seen this before, admin will kick/ban people who don't have names. Can you get hold of the server admin and ask him to unban you and while you are at it, change your name ...

oh! didims, did the nasty admin banned you for spoiling everyone's right to have a fun game. You were having such fun killing players that didn't have a chance. You're right! make them pay, grab some kiddie scripts, that will teach them... Move on, go to a server who cares about your ego.

permanent? ... are you saying that you can't get onto the other servers ANZ2/3/4, can't see you on the ban list. Otherwise I would say it was a temporary ban for breaking the rules. Anyway, you did place an appeal in the right area, it's the weekend, I'm sure cm will have a look as soon as possible. While you wait, get your clan members over to another server, take some new players on, have some fun ...
