I'm an honest person, I do exploit 3rd person in situations to get an advantage but I did play a first person only server exclusively for around a week and it's a completely different game. What I found was I didn't really miss being able to exploit it but actually the inability to see myself kind of made the game feel sort of empty or hollow (weird I know but that was the best I could describe it as). All in all I like my 3rd person but if 1st is forced in SA I won't mind.

And I thought having a northern forest base was inconvenient...

Just something like the camo clothing but with just the high res camo pants and some kind of civi jacket. With shades and a beard... Always the beard.

It's easy. Don't be loud and annoying, if you run down the center of the road with 10+ aggro yelling friendly in direct, friendly or not people will shoot you. Be casual when talking to people. Don't get attatched to them either, a lot of people would prefer to break off rather than stay grouped. Don't point your fucking gun at them it just puts people on edge. In the end it all comes down to meeting the right person. Sorry for the shit quality posts lately but posting from a phone gets me lazy on cleaning my posts up.

Never really been a fan of the crossbow in its current state (hard to carry lots of ammo, pretty weak irons and the one shot re-chamber). It is however one of my favourite things to find when I just spawned, Hitting zombies isn't a problem if crosshairs are enabled on the server.

I don't know why that was so funny to me.

I simply stopped being a KoS bandit because after the months of playing shoot every player you see it becomes a very boring playstyle. I find being friendly is a much more interesting way to go about it. And if I have to be a bandit it's definately much more fun to attempt robbery rather than shootig people.

I've only just now noticed that it's stopped asking me to choose a gender.... Shows how much I care about playing as female.

I was going to write a long thought out reply but this guy sums it up.

If you're still interested I have a group of around 4 or 5 including me that play DayZ a fair bit (I have 560 hours in arrowhead not including any of the download maps or pretty much anything since the start of last October seeing as I started using commander). When we play DayZ we usually Play on the aVa private hive servers and hunt the clans on there, which sounds exactly like your kind of thing lol. Recently we've cooled down our regularity of playing in prep for the SA and we play alot more wasteland, taki life, A.C.E mod and a lot of battlefield 3. Got kind of carried away there but anyway if any fellow Aussies think that sounds like a group that they would like to play with just PM me whenever for skype and stuff

In my honest opinion if you can hold down a barracks at the airfield for long enough to get what you want go for your life. I get kind of upset when people do it on empty servers though, then it become straight up cheating.

I make the contact first and from the players rear or any vulnerable spot. I like to sound chilled and casual in asking if they need any help or supplies. If they want a bloodbag I usually feel better if they lower their weapon (most people feel uncomfortable dropping it). A really big tip is don't be obnoxious and loud, if some guy comes sprinting down the road with all of cherno's zombies on him screaming his head off yelling I'M FRIENDLY it bugs the shit out of me. You may be friendy, but you're a fuckstick. Also it helps to double tap ctrl and lower your own gun, alot of people get edgy with a barrel pointed at their face!

That was amazing... Finally, someone that gets it. Seriously though I hope that the KoS goes down a little in the SA. I recenty stopped being such a bandit and started making contact with people more often. Makes the game 100x better!

One of the first times I remember killing someone was actually a case of mistaken identity. I was basically looting the elektro power station and found me a nice shiny M4A1cco. Apon leaving the firestation I started taking fire from the field to the north. At the time I thought it was enfield fire but it would have been something along the lines of a cz550 or a DMR. I ran for cover and hid in the little corner between the chimney and the large TEC building and waited for my attacker to investigate. As I'm hiding there cowering I see a fellow enter the firestation from the back door and start looting, all the while thinking it was my attacker I start shooting into him (being a noob I was surprised at how many shots it took to down him. Upon inspection of his gear he only had a double barrel. Feeling guilty I made a run for the smaller hill in front of Dobry only to have my legs broken by the person firing at me previously. I hid behind a bush for 20 minutes with broken legs waiting for him to finish me off (I'm still proud that as my noob self I didn't alt f4). After hiding behind the bush a little longer decided I was too scared to brave elektro with broken legs so I clicked respawn and later returned to pick up my gear.

aVa gaming if you like clan fighting, never ever ran into hackers on their servers.

I want to be able to drag or carry bodies and hide them by relocating them.

I find it disturbing that you say everyone was naked and your name is sausage king....

I find it disappointing that most of mine are about KoS. 1. Never shoot an unarmed without reason 2. Do not ever turn my back to another player. 3. Get away from the coast as soon as i'm able

If you intend to try to avoid being a bandit (Power to you) you really have to play stealthy and only make contact with people when you mean to, also kill all bandit skins on sight; they are not to be trusted.
