    I hope that they don't give private server owners the ability to alter TOO much. But I am almost certain it will happen again, some people just prefer spawning and finding a military weapon and 3 cars in Kamenka. I personally feel like my character means more when I know that what I have gathered isn't easy to obtain.

    DayZ in its best form died with the public hive. I'm very excited for the return of public hive in the standalone. No more of this 200000000000 vehicle and spawn with all of the essentials bullshit.

    You wouldn't believe how sick I am of playing servers and having so many vehicles that they mean nothing to me. The main reason I'm excited for the SA is the return of hive servers that aren't completely ruined by the kids with scripts.

    If my squad was still actively playing DayZ we would probably participate in this sort of thing. It looks like immense fun. I recommend that you do get a mic and join up. First time on their servers I killed a geared sniper in Cherno and he actually came into the ts channel we were in and welcomed us to the server... I was wondering if it was sarcastic but it seemed so damn sincere.

    I used the get pissed off whenever I was killed by blatant hacks. Until I realized that what makes this game fun isn't the gear or how long you can live. It's the epic moments.

    300 blood and you weren't knocked out by the zombies beating the shit out of you... I had about 10k blood and was shooting at a bandit north of Cherno. 1 zed came from behind and knocked me out and broke my leg. the bandit just ran up and shot me.

    Here's a little video my friend put together of some bandit hunting with the squad. Our original plan was to help survivors and shoot bandits but it ended up getting a little messy. The recording starts just after we kill 2 clan members sniping from Dobry sniper hill above Elektro. Enjoy some hero work gone wrong B).
