    stealth abuse

I think that i'm the only player that has never run into this before, i usually stay up north alot to avoid the RIDICULOUS traffic that main cities get. What i have run into a few times is players combat logging. A few scenarios where me and my friends ran into this at Stary Sobor #1 I was prone under a tree overlooking the Stary military tents with my buddies nearby in the treeline in case a shot i made wasn't lethal or something. What sounded like some sort of AK weapon goes off some distance behind me (i estimate around 25-50m away from me) and the trunk of the tree takes the hits as my friends move into the treeline he was located in he seemingly vanished into thin air. I wasn't that frustrated, he did miss and i got to live for another 5 minutes #2 Occured just after #1 after my friends discovered he had vanished we went back to our positions and shortly after i spot a player leaving the camp through the treeline. We chase him to the field beyond and he is shot multiple times, he was some distance away and we managed to break his legs leaving him rolling away from us. As i'm scoped on him and about to take a shot he also disappears. Now this time i am pissed off reason being we've now just announced our location to every player and Z in the area which resulted in my death and almost the loss of my m24 #3 after raiding Stary me and the same friend are leaving from what i remember to be the Northern hill when i spot movement in the top left of my screen. Turned out to be two players: one was an overwatch while the other moved to raid the camp. After a good amount of stealth and patience we finally move into position behind the overwatch and before we get the chance to ruin his evening he vanishes, another one that kind of pissed me off. Sorry for the somewhat long post but thought i would share some of my experiences with combat D/C. Still one of the best games i think i've owned so far

Fun to done in less than 30 minutes...

Couldn't care less how many times i die from BS or how much i see people complain about bugs (i recently had my tents wipe with numerous rare and or crash site gear) i find the game fun to play no matter what, so eh just my opinion on it.

Post your best and/or worst experiences

My experience happened not 2 hours ago. I was headed from my camp near Stary Sobor to the coast to pick up one of my friends (newly spawned). i was waiting for him around the elektro power station behind some bushes on the southern hill. As i'm laying there waiting i hear on direct com's a ton of people yelling friendly on your six, then a group of what looked like (from behind the bush) almost 5-7 survivors nearly all of them unarmed run past the bush following a survivor with what looked to be an AK. He was in my sights not 25m away, i could have ended him but i decided to be decent, him not having anything i wanted. As i back up the hill trying to distance myself from them i hear his AK go off, my bones break and the "you are dead!" screen comes up. Seeing as i had nothing to lose and i spawned at Otmel (probably only 1km East of Elektro) i run right back to my corpse. To my delight i find my crappy AK Kobra and trusty revolver are still there but the bastard took ALL of my ammo. I later discovered he had taken my hatchet, matches, GPS, map and other items i actually needed. By this time operation rescue my friend from the coast had been abandoned so i proceeded to hoof it all the way back to Stary Sobor, it later turned out to be a bad idea to try it with no map compass or gps to help and after about an hour or so of blundering through forestland i find myself west of Stary. Then in a field i spot what appears to be a rock but looks much too like a crashed helicopter, when i get to it... it was! i found myself my first AS50 rifle along with what i think was an mk-mod-o and also another m14AIM. brandishing the mk and with the AS50 in my ALICE i ran back to my camp to find most of my weapons and items to be completely cleaned out. I have yet to fully evaluate what i have lost and set up a new camp (i died so they will be disapppearing shortly) so far the losses consist of my buddie's mp5sd and it's mags, my m24 rifle but not it's mags, a few more crash site weapons too (FAL's, Bisons) and pretty much all the stuff i've accumulated over the past 2 weeks. Basically, really bad experience: dying and realising my tents will despawn soon good experience: found two really good and rare weapons really bad experience: having my camp cleaned out

Any stories you feel bad about?

The other night just outside of Polana me and my mate found a crashed helicopter site. After completely cleaning it out we retreated to the bushes nearby and took a break, apon coming back i could hear multiple shots nearby (they were loud, most likely a carbine). Then someone in the sidechat asks if anybody has morphine. My response of course was: "are you in Polana?" he replied that he was and a zombie had broken his legs, we told him help was on the way and booked it to a hillside overlooking the town. Then we spot him... crawling just over 50m away, the countryside echoes with our shots and he's quickly killed. Only reason i feel bad is after checking the body he had absolutely nothing of interest to us, better than going in giving him morphine and having him shoot us in the back as we're leaving.
  5. I had this happen to me in stary, same situation... swapped czech for alice and the czech disappeared. Luckily i was travelling with a buddy and it just so happened it was still there for him, transfered my stuff back into my pack and were on our way.
