I suddenly have an idea... Instead of robbing people and letting them go I can rob them and then do this....

Yeah, pissed me off when I found out about that. I was running just outside of cherno when I spotted a player with a DMR and coyote pack running in the northern treeline so I naturally assumed that he was sniping the town and of course I was right, he fired a good 20 rounds in my direction and missed every single shot (typical town sniper). So I went after him with only my trusty Winchester and a few slugs and after a short game of peek-a-boo around some trees I knocked him out and when I moved up to abuse him before finishing him off he just poofed.

It doesn't look like you are but if you're still after people to play with we have a little clan of around 5 or 6 going, we mostly fight clans on their servers and we also play battlefield.

Man everyone saying that surrendering is a bad idea, I hate when all I want is you to drop your rifle, handgun and pack so I can pick from your supplies maybe even give you a hand but you people always have to fidget or pull a gun on me and force me to put you down. I prefer doing that instead of just killing people, saves me from wearing that ridiculous bandit skin and also adds to the role-play. Me and my group once tried to hold up 2 players with an ATV and a car that were driving up and down the western roads, we posted 1 machine-gunner down the road, another gunner a little up the road while I stood at a gas station waiting for them to drive through. As they came over the hill I told them to stop the vehicles or we would stop them, sure enough the dumb asses sped up straight into a wall of machine-gun fire. Both were killed , the car blew up and we later recovered the ATV. When people try to hold you up, co-operate.

Sounds like they have a lot of gear and resources and sounds like I could have some fun with them, If you want pm me the server and i'll get a few people and myself hunting 'em.

Just re-visited the thread from the last I saw it and it seems that most people don't like it. Anyway I hope this makes it in, will have endless fun knocking my friends on their ass.

I would prefer that you actually have to physically loot the inside of the house rather than stand outside and do some silly animation and have loot magically appear at your feet. Maybe some of the houses could be made enter-able but you have to use the hatchet to break the door down, keep your idea of making the crowbar and such more useful.

I love this suggestion to death, one of my favorite ones yet. I like the idea of being able to dispose of threats without necessarily killing them or maybe being able to use a mechanic like this to take hostages. Reminded me a lot of the battlefield 3 campaign melee events

We have a group of about 3 most of the time when we play and sometimes it can go up to 6-7 if we link with some other guys we play with occasionally.

Lookin' for a few capable AU players that may be interested in playing in a group, after alot of our previous friends/members have stopped playing I decided to bring us back to playing more frequently in a group but we lack players. We tend to move over multiple servers never really having a home for long but lately we've taken to playing the aVa panthera server. We're semi-serious when playing DayZ (we still have those times when everyone is in a silly mood and we may or may not blow stuff up for the kicks). We are overall a "bandit group" in that we will kill on sight in most situations provided the player isn't unarmed, not a fan of that sort of thing. If it means anything to you one of us usually records on occasion where some sort of exciting event is happening such as a robbery or a group vs group firefight. Going off the people still playing the age group is pretty accurately around the 15-18 mark though there's not very many of us left. If I missed mentioning anything I should have put in here let me know, i'm kind of new to group recruitment lol. Well after discovering how dangerous it is to get trapped in a barn by zombies I ran around for a bit completely colourblind and managed to find a small house which if I re-call correctly was probably at cherno/elektro, I hid in the house for a moment and checked for loot and found nothing. I heard makarov shots somewhere nearby and after passing out on the floor several times with shots still going off nearby I committed suicide out of shear fright. Those were the days...

Too far. If he was loot farming on an empty public hive maybe that would be called for but i'm assuming that this is his sort of home private hive. Loot farming is fine to me as long as you arn't doing it on empty servers on purpose, if you can sit on a populated server waiting for loot to spawn and live you deserve it anyway. If it was his home private hive then whatever. He didn't want to play a different server and wanted loot, what do you want him to do? Walk to stary because he might feel bad if he loot cycles?
