  1. In my server, we had hackers come in and put tents full of high end gear in Cherno -_- So this really doesn't even apply to my server

    Coordinates... for various camps...

I have no comment at this point.
  3. Now Todd, you realize there are about 700 servers for this game that are online 24/7, right? Well now you know. You claim all you do is join in because of nighttime or other bogus but when you know the location of our camp, run to it in another server, then join ours so you are right in the middle, its called ghosting, or as I call it, cheating. I believe as proud, legitimate, and active community members of DayZ we have an obligation to rid this fantastic game of cheaters. If you disagree then please, refute my statement. I won't continue on about how messed up our server is, or how much we have been trying to fix it, since this has already been said. Instead, I will use a quote your parents may have told you sometime in your life. "There are plenty of other fish in the sea..." This means, since you clearly have issues with our server (more notably, that you were banned for cheating), you can just go to another. That's the beauty of this game. You can't be banned from every server out there (unless of course you use hacks). So, I politely ask that you stop complaining because you got caught red-handed, and just go about your day with a new server. It will be exciting for you; it will give you something productive to do. Good day. Sincerely, The Shadow of Humanity

    DayZ Massive overhaul

Ok you clearly do not understand the difference between changing and adding content. I'm all for adding content. The problem with this thread is it wants to CHANGE DayZ into something its not and should never be. The person who wrote this and the ones agreeing with it are typical MMO players that want the MMO experience because DayZ is apparently an MMO now (didnt realize 50 people meant MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER). You yourself gave the reason why they SHOULDNT add NPC's, "Minecraft added NPCs, and it was pointless. Totally pointless." In a real zombie apocalypse, do you think there will be safe places? Havens where cars can drive freely and people can have a beer? Hellllllll no! That's why its not in the game because this SIMULATOR is going for realism as much as possible. Continuing with the fact this is a mod for a simulator that aims for realism, how would these special events setup when Chenaurus is 250 square Km? Do they use their cell phones? No. Once again, the realism factor is what keeps this from being implemented (for the better). Clans are where events should be and where they should stay. To the person that commented on my Russia stereotype, yes it was a stereotype. No Russians don't hunt with M16's and whatnot but it doesn't matter. It's a stereotype that the Dev's sort of inserted into the game. If you actually think about it, its pretty funny. Anything else? -Cpt0bv1us

    DayZ Massive overhaul

You complaining about gun quantity is because of poor research. I don't know if you noticed this, but this game is set in Russia. Yes, RUSSIA. That means lots of guns. Another thing is that you complained about PVP. As Rocket has said before, this is not a game. This is a simulator. Its not supposed to be a FUN GAME. I will agree that dying has no consequences but your 1 life per server idea is terrible. Adding NPC's is a terrible idea as well because then it might as well become War Z. Look up that GAME because that is what you are looking for. You essentially want to tear apart DayZ to become some fun RPG. Thats not the point of it. You also said you wanted events with rewards and a bunch of people. That would be called a clan sir. Join a survivor or even a bandit clan and you will be happy. My clan is great. We've done full on raids of NW Airfield (with cars and flares, the whole 9 yards). We've taken over Cherno and Elektro and held them for several hours. You just have to be creative. The idea is kinda like Minecraft where you make your own fun. You make your own goals. Try finding a few vehicles and setting up a camp. That'll keep you busy for a month or so. You just need to realize that this is not a game. Its a mod for a simulator. You want a game, go find it elsewhere but don't wish to ruin DayZ just because you aren't having fun. Good Day sir -Cpt0bv1us

    Teamspeak 3 Server for DayZ

I hope this will attract more ppl!!!
  10. So lately I have noticed that in EVERY server, in EVERY major city, there is barbed wire blocking all major loot areas. I consider these people to be griefers. They do this to no benefit to themselves and there is no way to get around it. You normally see this in firehouses. They will block all the entrances to the building but they usually focus their attention on the tower of it because all the goodies are up there. In the 14 servers I was in today, I found all firehouses to be blocked, all the way from Cherno to the NW Airfield (No I wasn't server hopping, I kept getting killed by bandits -_- ). There has to be a solution to these griefers. This is a very annoying problem and needs to be given some attention. I will soon capture footage and post it here as proof. Tell me your opinion on this matter. -Cpt0bv1us
