Ok so the game loaded, I got into a server, I got passed the loading screen that lots of ppl had trouble with, but then it all of a sudden took my bak to the server list screen and in the background it says "waiting for character to create . I have been on the same screen for 5 minutes, what should I do? Was I suppose to create a character before trying to join a server?

Can anyone make a private server so I can play? I can't get on to any other server so far I don't mean private as in just me, I mean like me and others that u let in I don't mean private as in just me, I mean like me and others that u let in

I can usually only get into servers with more then 1k ping and by private I ment like locked

Every time I join a server I asks me to be either male or female but once I'm in all my progress from the last time I played is completly gone, what's going on?

Just keeping going through servers, I have been having the same problem but I got into one that finally let me in, so just keep trying

Ok thanks for the info u just saved me 6 hours of installing the games again lol

Wait I might know the problem, all the guides to install dayz, say something.about running the games before u instal so steam can do stuff, by running the games Does that.mean I had to like let the games full load up to their main screens? Lol I'm a idiot ill have to reinstall both games tomorrow and test.my theory

Ok so the mod works I think, I can join servers but once I'm in the server and hit the OK button to start playing the "loading " screen then the bar then fills up then nothing happens it just stops and doesn't move forward into the game. What should I do? I have noticed a couple ppl have the same problem
