Is it possible to add seats to the UH-Y1 Huey where you just sit and are able to use your own weapon? Learn your grammar, then come back to the forum. And the answer is probably not, due to limitations with Arma 2.

Idk, I've heard them make human noises before, but those are clearly from Arma itself, like the noise when they get shot or whenever. But I'm talking about when they're not aggroed and are just shambling around, if you listen, they'll mumble "words" or more precisely, "word" and it's very difficult to tell what the word is, but it's unmistakeably a word, it's not a grunt or anything. Mind you it's like a 1 in 50 chance to hear it, it doesn't happen often.

This freaks me out, it reminds me of a web comic; Bong Chong Dong Ghost (Search up Pewdiepie's video of it and have some spare pants around). I imagine it as something alot like the creature depicted in the comic, but with glowing eyes like a dog. There would be shit-a-plenty in everyone's pants at night if these things existed. (Also, this is my 100th post, ooh rah)

How about we are able to tow the vehicle husks off the damn road and rebuild them in workshops... It would place a limit for how many you could have, as you' have to find the vehicle hush first, but we'd need to reduce the amount of husks around then.

Don't forget crawling zombies on your list there, and I wasn't talking zombie lore entirely, I'm talking specifically here. Also, for them clearly being undead? Debatable, the only reason I'd ever consider them undead would be because of their facial textures. Mind you if you listen long enough, you'll sometimes hear the zombies mutter actual words, or atleast what sound like words.

Are you joking???????? If I had no life and only played DayZ, maybe that would be acceptable, but most people have lives outside the game, that's why my character tends to live longer than most. What happens if I leave for the day? or the week? Think about it now, don't be stupid. As for the post, the spawn rate could use with a little bump, and I've heard that anything outside the boundaries disappears with a faster time but not fast enough, it should be like one hour so then there'd be no out of map camps, as there still is.

Why is it EVERY DAMN THREAD I find talking about zombie speed and health, everyone assumes that they're dead, the damn lore stated clearly on the site says: Welcome to Chenarus. A 225 km2 open world post-soviet state and one of the areas hit by a new and presently unknown infection which has wiped out most of the world's population. You are one of the few who have survived and now you must search this new wasteland in order to fight for your life against what is left of the indigenous population, now infected with the disease. You people need to think, there's no reason these INFECTED people should not be capable of running as fast or faster than you.

Play any Command and Conquer lately? And personally, I prefer the idea of loading up bits and pieces for base contruction in your vehicles or inventory, as opposed to the all in one vehicle. That way it's far game, not whoever finds it wins.

I think it'd be pretty cool to not have NVGs, NV scopes, or thermal either. It'd make night time alot of fun/a big anal rape orgy of blind people. It would give flares and chemlights more value, as well as you'd have to manage your light sources if you're fighting.

Be careful, I play EVE currently, and I can tell you, you will have no choice but to spend many months playing if you want to get good, like 5-6 months, JUST to get good. It's a very large-scale game, only problem I have with it is the skill training, which is real-time. it can be anywhere from 8 minutes, to like 30 days, depending on the skill and the level your training. Other than that, it's an ambitious game, and it does clans and fleet battles very well. It's also a game where digits matter big time, so you better be good with math :P. -
The game needs to be optimized immensely before it can increase server size. Rocket has stated plans for DayZ to become a standalone by December, which means he'll be able to make some serious changes and optimizations. Preferably, he should move to a new engine, such as the thread; "CryEngine 3 - Possible?" states and recommends Cryengine or Unreal engine. As for it's similarities to EVE? In a way, I guess you could say that it is a player created world run by the player, for the player.

Ya, I see, quick access would be an issue, but then you've got things like bear traps, however I can't think of anything else really that would slow them down. as for the "flag" idea, I was trying to find a way to easily and variably set up a base, a kind of set of conditions that are a "on size fits all" sort of thing.

Well, how bout a lock picking kit, shooting the door, or using a crowbar? that should be able to get past about any lock you'll find. And for negating zombie spawns, I can't think of anything better than a flag or command post structure, able to be placed like a campfire, that negates spawning in a radius of 75 meters, but should have different versions, like small at 25 meters, medium at 75, then large at 150. Also say I wall off the roads and alleys leading into the courtyard in electro with the office building in it, it would be annoying to have to recognize the regular buildings along with my placed ones, meaning a radial effect would be easier. Also, if you had one placed outside a town outside of 500 meters, you'd have a chance for a horde to march toward it, within 1500 meters of the town. If you were outside of that, you'd be safe, but if you were inside the 500 meter zone, zombies would be able to spawn 50-100 meters outside of your spawn negator's influence.

Makes complete sense, although building a fort away from the city is supposed to be safer than within, so zombies still being attracted to it? Maybe, if it's within like 500 meters of zombie spawn area. But how would you do that? if you could negate zombie spawns, they'd be spawning in the station even if the door was shut, so ya, maybe if you wall off an area they can't spawn inside that zone, or you could have a new item like a flag or something that negates zombie spawns within like 50-70 meters. Along with lockable doors and gates, and a door you can place yourself for your forts, maybe like a portcullis or a gate that swings open like the church doors.

Very nice idea, but wouldn't a police station be an issue because of zombies? unless some sort of lockable gate that you could place were to be introduced. So then you could wall off around the building and open as close the gate as you need, plus, you;d need a way to negate zombie spawns. Like the power grid, turning it on makes it so zombies only spawn in the outskirts of the city/town (not officially part of thread, just my own idea for it.).

I want to be able to find those skins. They could be found in residential as VERY rare loot.
