Name of player: COACH 4 Server: Eu#404 Time: 23:05 GMT + 1 Spotted with an AS50 TWS inside elektro, killed him. Tried to take a screenshot, but it just appears as black. I also realise that he could of obtained this via killing a hacker. However the gun is not in the game so... Also ALOT of players on the server have AS50's i had one but from a different server. Coincidence maybe.

Seemed a little callous to me, I was half expecting some other guys to roll up and gun you all down for firing off that AK like you were untouchable. Some nice kills but one day, someone will hear them, and come looking. Also did they attack you, did you know they went in there? Or were you just camping it out?

We do not need your kind here, crawl back into whatever hole you came from. Have fun playing your Call of Duty .... How much does that cost again £40 plus all the DLC that they try to force down your throat? If you wanted to play dayz so "badly" you would pay for ArmaII then play it. Another CoD every year? Rather drink my own piss.

Okay so I know everyone has had alot of deaths in this game, if you haven't then you probably haven't played that long, but what was your most annoying death so far? I'll start off with mine, which just so happens to be mine, I've been ghosted before but its never made me mad or anything, slightly annoyed, but nothing made me as angry as the death I just had. So I die up at the NW airfield and lose my DMR/M4A3 CCO + Coyote backpack, nothing major I havelost tonnes of loot. So I respawn, I run around Elektro and find a dead body with a FN FAL (3mags) , COYOTE backpack, everything for a tool belt expect radio/ GPS, binoculars everything I could ever wish for upon spawning, even had med supplies, and a Lee enfield in the pack too. So i head on over to Cherno hoping to find a better 'backup' weapon, having 2 very loud rifles and a revolver... totally going solid snake style with that right? Anyways there was no loot so I heads into the church for a little refuge, and because there is some awful graphical glitch in Cherno atm, really annoying. So im looking around and i notice that all the whites are far too bright. Like stupidly white, so i look in my settings, gamma/brightness are both at 1.1, so i turn them down to 0.9 and they were still bright, so time to mess with monitor settings (first mistake; this is where i should have logged off, but i thought whats the harm, it will take 30 secs, and i haven't heard anything.) Literally as soon as i press the menu button on my monitor two guys come running into the church and sit right behind the monitor menu, and it a'int exactly transparent, I cant see them, they are not speaking, and i'm sat there spamming every damn button on my monitor hoping this menu would close while trying to hide behind something in the church (second mistake; a man trying to multi-task.) Bang bang i'm dead and I still have this f*cking menu in front on my eyes. Made me so damn angry, not that i died, but the fact I could not do anything back because of how they were positioned. Should have sprayed wildly in burst and hoped for the best or something, benefit of hindsight I suppose. So what happened to you guys that made you so mad? Was it mistakes or just being sniped from 1000m+, everyone has their stories :)

This. However you will need a hatchet for some wood, and matches to light the fire. Not to mention a hunting knife to gut the animal. Just be cautious fires can lead other players to you. Especially at night time.

You can team up with other players by looking on the forums, playing with in real life friends, or finding friendlies in game and befriending them. But if you mean can you form a group/team/clan inside the game, then no, i dont know if they are working on it or what, would be nice though to see your teammates as a thumnail on your screen so you can always see their status. But i think that its like this cause you wouldnt be able too in real life, and friendly fire is always there :P

Because usually the snipers are in locations where zombies cannot hear them or get to them, or lose interest before getting the full distance. In cherno there are ALOT of tall buildings that snipers can get on and kill people from there, and not aggroing the zombies in the process, but usually attracts the attention of other players. In elktro the hills north of the city are good for sniping as you can see "most" of the key loot locations while being far enough away from zombies not to get hit by them. Learn to spot these locations, and then put something in the way like buildings, walls etc. If you have too sprint from location to location, zig-zag if you are getting shot at, staying put is a snipers best friend while zig zagging just makes it hard from them to hit you. You dont see them because of the distance between you, usually more than 500m and they are hidden in bushes/tree line so they are even harder to see with the shade of the foilage, or they are that high and using third person to look around, and then moving to the edge to shoot. Snipers are annoying but learning how to avoid them is the best solution, and never go in the open nearby these spots. Always going to get killed, unless its a low pop server/ you havent heard any shots (still risky.) Good Luck with attempting these methods, doesn't always work, if they want to kill you bad enough, they will get you.

Clearly the game was never meant for you if you are already out. Sometime there will never be loot because other players got their first, logging onto other servers while you are in the church will also not give loot as you logged in inside, unless there was other players there to spawn the loot there will not be any. Have fun with whatever other game you go onto playing. Zombies are not difficult to avoid, all you need to do is break line of sight, run through a building that has 2 entrances, never stop moving when a zombie is attacking you, and looting with zombies on you is such a stupid move unless you are just looting everything as fast as possible.

While I do understand why they do it, they have paid for a server (or have a good enough connection to host their own, and the hardware) so they want to play alone. However it gives everyone else a massive disadvantage when they go up against these players who get all their loot on their own server, then possibly log to other servers and kill players there with the loot they got on their own. An unfair disadvantage to other players may aswell be cheating, everyone else has to put up with the fear/paranoia of being killed, why do these people get to avoid that just because they have their own server? Its not how the game was meant to be played especially when there is no risk, but maximum reward.

Exact same thing has happened to me, but i used my AK i got from the fire station instead. The sniper was not self-aware at all.Firing 4-5 rounds to kill a single player. Really a dick move, but without any punishment, they are going to do it. When they do get punished they will probably quit the game imo.

I've played the game for nearly a month now, and the best loot i've ever found in tents is AKs/Ammo/random toolbelt stuff. I've ran around the edges of maps for hours, looking in places i've heard from other players/seen online. Sometimes i never find anything, i would much prefer to go to Stary/NW/Deer Stands than run around looking for something that may or may not even be there. Atleast i know loot spawns there and i have a chance at getting some good loot.

Because in sports there HAS to be a winner. Somebody has to lose but in DayZ you do not have to kill other players. You can play how you like, if you feel like killing every person what so ever without caring, fine thats how you play. But other people may play alone and the other player could have been friendly but pure paranoia led them to killing them even though they didnt want too. In DayZ nobody wins and everyone loses, you are going to die eventually, but you are always pumping time into the game. And so is everyone else. People feel guilty because of the many options to what the other player could have been (friendly/bandit/server medic <- love these guys)

Its not real life, its just a game, but how many times have you been killed and been a little annoyed and/or frustrated about it? When you kill another player for whatever reason you are taking away all the progress they have made in this life. I've felt guilty a couple of times, especially when they say friendly, but if i've heard gunshots previous, im going to shoot them anyways. Its more a case of what if they were friendly, and then you get the thought that now they are going to become another KoS bandito like everyone else... Meh its just a game, but players can help each other. If you shoot at me, im not going to feel guilty, im going to knock you out and tea bag you. Maybe drag you into some zombies, just cause I can. (till they alt -f4)

What if the sniper was like 1200m away? Don't know if you would hear the shot, never used a sniper much, only ever had a DMR... Maybe a really good sniper, you never know :P
