    Now it's just like the old way where each arrow takes up an inventory slot. The quiver is pretty much useless. Please change it back to the previous patch where quivers acted as ammo clips.

    argg. I love the xbow but now its barely useable as you have to leave 3-6 slots open just for the arrows. honestly makes no sense why they changed it. quiver was perfect last patch.

    I play daily. Hero, survivial style. Loving new patch and run around with xbow, chest vest and repairing vehicles. Looking for relax, active, mature players to group with. I'm on east coast time.

    I'm also looking for groups that are casual and play for survival aspect of the game. I just like raiding towns and fixing vehicles my skype "nicspov" Im in the process of repairing 4 (yes FOUR) UAV jeeps I found, so would love a hand :)

    found 2 uavs side by side at green mountain. Anyone want to help fix them up? Can keep 1 obviously for yourself. Bad news is both need EVERYTHING... 4 wheels, engine, fuel, hull, gas. I'm survivor style player. Only have an x-bow and pistol on me, so anyone just looking to kill and loot a friendly guy, you wont get much :) skype me nicspov also, the server i'm on is 1.7.6 and latest beta patch. But I do keep getting the #20 error everytime i eat or drink sadly.

    why does everyone favor private hive? Then you need to start fresh on every server you go on, right?

    public hive. server seems to kick you if you use any of the new items. I get kicked for shooting my xbow, but not my pistol. and yeh people may want to kill me, but they'll have to come all the way to green mountain to do it, and all they'll get is an xbow and pistol... things I can replace in 20 mins

    I play the game for survival, z-killing, vehicle fixing, bandit killing. I do not not shoot on site, unless provoked. I play the game as survival mode. For pvp action, I just go play BF3 or APB. I like dayz cause of the survival fun, gathering gear and getting vehicles. Looking for similar style players to group with! my steam id: inic81 skype: nicspov

    Only items i haven't seen at actual loot spawns are rangefinders, svd, mk, radio I've never even seen the following on people or loot spawns: satchel charge, pipe bomb, m136.

    i was just on this server 2167. Bunch of the clan guys on. I died in the middle of no where. My gun started firing on its own,then I just was dead. I wasn't even pulling the trigger. Then I started new char to try to run to my body since it was close to coast. I died from what seemed like a tons of grenade explosions about 5 secs after spawning new char. definitely hackers on that server. needs to be blacklisted. everyone on the server EXCEPT the clan guys are dying over and over

    the remaining cqf people i hear on vent are either new recruits or asshats. I can only stay on their TS for no more than 20 mins cause I just want to punch someone after listening to them talk. All the good CQF ppl have been gone for awhile it seems. Oh well. Guild wars 2 in 7 days!

    I've already told you, but you don't want to listen. Most of CQF doesn't play anymore. And no, it's not cause of you. Most are on vacation or just got bored of the game. When I log into their TS, i'm lucky to see 5 people playing dayz. You having fun sitting in spots for hours waiting for one CQF talk to walk by? And they don't go on those servers anymore since the admin is on vacation, and hasn't updated them to 2.5 yet

    you can play both. YOu just change the launch options when you want to switch maps. you obviously have 2 different characters. Lingor has a more private hives though, so even within lingor, you might have several chars. Here are the 2 launch options i use: -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@Dayz -mod=@lingor;@dayz_lingor -beta=Expansionbeta;ExpansionbetaExpansion -nosplash -nopause

    You realize there's barely any CQF people playing right? I'm on every day and when i go on their TS, i see MAYBE 5 people on the dayz section. A few in Lingor and thats it. A month ago, there would be 30+ people on the dayz channel. I think people are just getting bored of the game and moving on. I'm kinda getting bored of the game too, and just waiting for guild wars 2 and other games to be released. Lingor map is helping somewhat, but it's not fixing the underlying issues.

    I stumbled on 3 crash sites all around the gorka area yesterday. 1 was looted 2 were fresh. 1 had an as50 and L85. I was screaming like a girl. Other site had a fal and bizon. I wanted to take the bizon but had no room. With the ammo bug now fixed, not even sure a bizon is worth it. Maybe if they make it able to use mp5/mp5sd ammo. I do love mp5sd and bizon guns. I'm not into sniping and prefer medium to close range combat. Give me anything with a holo or silencer and i'm happy. speaking of, i'm down for trading the as50 for a bizon IF there's lots of mags with it. I'd also take a m14 or one of the LMGs. I still never even used any of the LMGs yet...

    is there a way to confirm this? I use stanag sd in my M4 (non-sd) and damage seems to be same

    link you gave shows the m4 sd with nerfed damage. You're gonna have to site the source of that cause I've never heard m4 sd damage nerf and neither has anyone I know. Damage seems to be based on the ammo used, not the gun itself. stanag ammo wasn't changed

    Yes i know about the changes. But only sidearms, AKs and mp5's were affected. m4's were unchanged
