Congrats! Yeah this game has for sure done wonders in making you actually have a feeling when you're in a firefight. That intense feeling when bullets are zipping and cracking all around you, and you take another survivors life and feel relief that the bullets aren't flying at you anymore. Than as you said, get out of their because the loud gunfight is sure to attract others!

I just noticed that roughly 45 minutes ago! Dark, logged in, prone in a bush. Plotting the route I was going to take to go up north, I hear steps. I exit my map, and i'm desperately scouring the area. Trees swaying, and than steps. Than it stops. Than I hear it. Sounds like it is directly in front of me! I literally sat their for ~10 minutes, before I said F it, and took off running thinking I was going to get shot in the back. Good to know I wasn't just losing my mind :P -P.S I'm pretty sure you cannot edit/change the ambient sounds, as it was meant to be part of the game. Just like most games now made it so you are completely unable to touch ambient noises, or it would be considered a cheat and give you a huge advantage over another player. Somewhat sucks but at the same time I like it that way. It may seem loud and all, but hell go stand in a forest on a windy day and it sounds the same. :)

All is good now. Merino is a god. Very very good person he is. As I said before, last night I had broken legs and 96 blood. I talked to merino and told him where to go to find me, and I log in and like a miracle i'm at 12,000 blood, no damage. Good as new! haha! What in the world happened while I was at work? So, I told him thanks but i'm all good now. Though the building I was in, I was sitting their chatting with merino on steam, and I see in the background of the overlay and zombie run through the wall and start attacking me! No idea why, I didn't even move!!! So, I took of running, killed the zombie, and than ran into a survivor. A few bullets were exchanged, but no one got hit. We were having a standoff both hiding behind trees. I told him I wanted no trouble, just escaping town. He didn't say anything and disconnected. After the zombie attacking me it brought me back down to 8,000 blood. Merino was in the area, stopped by, healed me, AND gave me two morphine shots for the future. Great guy he is indeed, highly recommend him. We hung out their and chatted for a bit, watching as two people raided the small village I just came from, with zombies attacking them. Than we went our separate ways. Thank you guys for creating this thread. The best idea ever. Hopefully your names get recognized as a cease fire if you are spotted!

I'm in need of a Medic ASAP. A door rocket my world last night. Not only that buy I got hit with another bug. It knocked me unconscious, broke my leg, and left me bleeding. When I woke up I tried to bandage but my character would not stop crawling at all. Finally got that fixed and now i'm left with 95 blood, all the way from 12,000! So, i'm stranded in a little house! Help will be much obliged, and if need of payment, I don't have much but I can give you a makarov.

After a week of playing, I came across my first survivor. Was at the airstrip in Balota. Running around in search of loot, I hear shots, and suddenly see them bouncing off the wall next me in the hanger. Quickly, I run for cover taking my time, peaking out in hopes of finding the person trying to take me out. After 10-15 minutes of waiting, I see a head emerge from a deer stand across the strip. He starts running along side the strip into the forest line. Okay, this is my chance to get away... I run out of the base into the forest. I do a big circle around the base, cross the road and see the barracks and what-not. My eyes are peeled and moving slowly towards them in hopes of finding this person, while also zig zagging trying to avoid any contact with the zombies. I get up the entrance with the 3 gates closed. Sitting their for a few minutes, keeping a look-out, knowing this was the area he ran into. Suddenly, he emerges from one of the barracks! He is walking towards another one, and i'm still outside the fence. I stand up take aim down my sites, and fire my Winchester right into his back. He drops like a sack of potatoes. Look up at the debug monitor, no murder. Okay so, he is still alive, probably unconscious. Now is my chance to move in for the kill. Not thinking about any of the zombies that were around me when I took the shot...they are ALL after me now. I start running. Get through the first gate, close it. Than the second gate. Whew, they can't get in their. I go to open the 3rd gate, and what do you know, the gate flings me into the fence, breaking bones and knocking me out! NO!!! Finally my guy comes too, I bandage myself, and start crawling away, and I go out again. Finally once again I wake up, look to my right, and their he is, crouched and staring right at me! I try to fire, and nope, i'm out of ammo! He is injured too. He walks over to me, and it was like out of a movie. Stands behind me, aims, BAM. Shot me in back of the head, execution style. Thankfully, I didn't have anything very good, so it was okay. Was pretty epic though. Not the best first encounter because it resulted in my death, but oh well. Sure was fun! :)

Its not really that I haven't had a visual of someone, this is my first run in face to face with one. I normally avoid contact when I see someone has a bigger gun. Knowing I wouldn't stand a chance.

Incredibly confused right now... I was looting a small town looking for food. Got a can of sardines. 6 Zombies surrounding me. I open a door out of this shack too leave, and when I walk out the door smacks me and breaks my leg. Not only that but a zombie starts eating me at the same time. I go unconscious and wake up, trying to kill the zombie, but for some reason my character WON'T STOP moving! I can't do anything!!! I DC'ed and joined a different server in hopes of it fixing, but no... i'm bleeding out and I can't heal because my guy just keeps crawling around by itself! Is this a bug? Am I screwed? I now have 900 blood because their isn't a damn thing I can do... or is their???

I am not one to server hop, but due to the nature of what just happened, I am forced to in hopes of finding something that will heal me. Sigh

Thank you! I spawned and started slamming keys. Finally it stopped and I bandaged myself! Now I have 35 blood and am stuck here till I can figure out a plan to save myself.

Well, for me, the fps improved DRAMATICALLY in every single situation. I hate any smoothing or acceleration with a passion. Being a avid FPS fan, it makes it so incredibly annoying to me... it's like you move the mouse a inch and it just keeps going!

Yessir. Don't play very often. Maybe 30-45 minutes here and their. Work a lot.

You may be correct. Either way, the first thing i mentioned helps a ton. Doesn't hurt to try either, you never know.

That is absolutely terrible. Why do people do this sort of shit? Not Rockets fault at all. I was in their right before that all happened. I kept lagging and getting red connection, so I said F it in search for a new server. I was literally in their about 3 minutes before that! Feel bad for all of you. Best of luck. Hopefully this asshat is found. Ddos that idiot, not the game that's bring people entertainment. *Sigh*

You're welcome. Hoping it gets out, and helps as many people as possible. I was extremely frustrated about to give up. No matter what settings I used low, or max, it was all exactly the same. Every other game I can play maxed out, no issues. Good luck to him!
