Iv most likly by now logged well over 500 hours into this game. And this is what iv seen thus far: When i first started playing there where about 700 dayz servers. I never saw a hacker (but was still learning how to play) When the server list on the six updater hit around 1000 servers. About 6 times i was running with 2 buddies and i would just drop dead. my buddies never heard a shot and no one ever came for my body. At first i thought hacker but after learning more about the game the AS50s sound radius is bugged. A player wont hear it if hes 200meters or more away Most the time. The AS50 with the 10 round m107 magazine does 100,000 blood dmg (its to kill cars). Now that there are almost 2000 dayz servers Iv run into 1 god mode guy with a G36. A guy that teleported to me. Iv been thrown into the air once. Mass teleported to a death squad once, and other minor little fun times have happened. This has happened across several servers as i was tring to find a expert server to call home. My thoughts on the whole matter... Find a quiet server to call home and hope for the best.

they are using cheat engine. It can lock values like blood, ammo, and other wonderful things. Pretty much keeps them at 12000 blood and most the time their current mag/clip at full. Edit: ran into my first one last night. He saw me first, missed with his G36 at first, broke my leg and as i dumped my M4A3 into him (3 full mags) he just walked up to me and layed down in front of me. I dont log off during combat (even hackers) so i took the death. Im sure he is really proud of himself atm.

the big problem is that a server admin cant really tell whos doing what. The logs are a mess. The server i play on we had the admin look through the logs so he could find a guy that just spawned in on my buddy with a gold ak. The logs showed that 13 other people on the server had a golden ak spawned in including my buddy that was just shot 2 admins and a mess of randoms that had been playing for the last 5 hours. They cant be found half the time. A bit ago i watched a guy in a town pulling every zombie into a house and kill them all, at first i was like well at least hes not shooting me. After the 4th pull he did i started to poke my nose in. All the zombies he was shooting where dropping military grade weapons, camo, range finders, nvgs and ammo. We got him banned. And all the loot in the zombies went away. How is an admin going to find out if he spawned in that crap when he had the zombies doing it for him?.

Non of the deaths you listed had anything to do with other players. Why are you complaining about other players when you are the one doing the dmg to yourself.

Best thing you can do is: Climb up that silo and put yourself in a nice spot on the side laying down. then server hop killing all the bandits you find up there while taking their loots. Your saving New spawns and getting phat loots its win win.

There is no night time in this game. Boost your HDR to Very High as well as your gamma and brightness. Now your playing in the day :) Edit: Yes this still works.

Havent found any yet. For fun you should throw an empty bottle at your buddy. He will think hes drunk for a little bit ;P. Just got done having a Bottle/tin can war with some buddies in a store.

I think Both the NW and NE air field are not worth going to. Just like Server hoppers looking for quick loot you also have Server Hopping Snipers looking for easy kills. You can scout it all you want, but it wont matter when you never see the guy spawn in when you think its safe to move.

The only issue iv been running into that "bugs" me about pvp is this: I spend time gearing myself out and my two buddies i roll with. We watch for others and if we run into another player we ask each other if he looks like he could be a threat and or has better stuff then us. We scout known Hot spots. Move in the darkness of night. Have over watch. And all of it is in vein because the last 10 or so deaths i have had were from Server hopping snipers looking for quick kills Or going from 12000 blood to -17000 without anyone hearing a shot and no matter how long my buddies wait hidden watching my body only for no one to come gets annoying. I cant claim cheaters on the random deaths by some unheard and unseen force because i have no idea what happened. I cant claim that server hopping snipers are cheating or exploiting because hey the sniper is right i didnt look where he spawned in at when he did after i thought it was clear to move in. How do i combat this? No idea. My ideas are that if i move around the map on a server that if i switch to another server i should be on the beach again (with all my loot) but not where i left off on my home server.

This morning A buddy of mine (Still feel bad for him) and myself did some night time raiding of the NW air field. We drove Some POS grey car up there from the coast. after Running down almost a hundred zombies and shouting in the night while we tried to do donuts on the Tarmac. We looted the place and i crashed into a fence busting both front tires. So we had a flare war with each other in the open field...Good times. Then a Sniper from the Control tower Some how sees us running around. This guy spams DMR rounds at us for a good 10 mins. Hits my buddy in the face losing his Camo cloths, m249, NVGs, everything you could want from a tool belt, just a mess load of nice things in his Alice pack. I hide my pretty self in a Bush telling him in vent i will guard his body until the blood god gets what is owed. 15mins later i see the bastard player cross dressed slowly coming out of the green shadows into the open. I dump a full mag of 5.56 into her as she leans over my buddy. only to watch her alt+F4 into the thin of the night air.

After reading Your Post OP i think ill be moving from vet to expert. I am tired of people being able to abuse the 3rd person view finding. Ill admit I do it to. I think its about time i Found myself looking through tall grass when I'm prone Shitting myself hoping no one is 3 feet in front of me

Two buddies and myself where skirting the tree line. Two guys where running the Opposite way just a little further in. My 2nd Spots them. i open Fire with a AKM. The One i open on Alt f4s. We Rush for cover. My rear Flanks The other one while i keep him shooting at me. He goes down, As one of my boys in Going through his stuff i kept my eye open for the other to log back in. Sure enough Some flat grass turns into a mound of grass around the same spot he ALT F4 rd at. He had some nice stuff :P I love when People Do it that way. Let me begin this Tell Of tells. A story of the Little guy. For all those starting Out Dont lose hope dear brother. Tis was thy morning On the wonderful server of US228. I awoke From my (on map) tent. To find Non had Found my awesome base. Being New and feeling lucky I head to the NW Airfield. As i am creeping away from Vybor i spot a slight Shine in the trees to the North. What is this White shine i see, is it a giant goat in that Forest? Why No dear Brother for it was Someones Car! (at this point my wife In RL starts Laughing at me For Acting like a kid that just entered TOYSRUS for the first time) Screaming with Glee Over the games Voice com yelling " IM STEALING YO SHIT BRO" hoping that no one hears me but cant help myself. I drive my New Stallion back to base Laughing all the way home. As i got home in my cozy woods of safety i jump off my Horse look around for a sec. and as i start walking to my tent A gun shot rings out right behind me sending me to the Coast. i love you dayz you let me taste your Warm goodness only to take it away. 30mins later after i stopped raging over losing not only a new toy but my base which had an FN FAL /w Night scope And around 3 hospitals worth of blood packs and morphine. The Huey has 3 members in it, All of which now wish to shoot at me. I laugh as what sounds like a M60 opening up the ground around me Letting them Know how bad they are at shooting me i Proceed to RUn around this wonderful city teasing them with wonderful things about how well they are doing. I get to the apt building and find a crossbow without any bolts. I laugh and let them know "YOUR IN FOR IT NOW" as they hover at the second level of the building firing in at me, i slowly walk across the wall from cover to cover. NOT A SINGLE FUCK WAS GIVEN THIS DAY GOOD SIRS!. I get to the top of the stairs and look out at the chopper And say "Bro your hovering really low, I hope a sniper hits...." A shot rings out smacking the gunner not 5 feet away from me right in the side of the head. Laughing at the Now dead gunner on the ground i ask "Hey you guys didn't land yet why did you jump out". The Huey pulls up. I run Around the streets for a bit trying to shake them as the now right side gunner is showing me his awesome skills Of hitting everything around me. I make it to the convent store Praying to rocket that he is watching me and spawned some unholy matron of a Weapon. I was given the Mack w/e PM pistol and two mags I yell "OH YOUR IN FOR IT NOW". At this time the huey is Floating in the Cross street right outside The front of the store facing me. I cant tell what side the Pilot is sitting on So i send some 9mm Rounds into what is normally the drivers side of a car. The Huey gunner Jumps out as the huey Drops from its 3 foot hover to the ground. He charges into the building and fires from the door. He has something nasty. I Duck down behind the metal selves in the back "YOU STILL MISSED ME Guy" I yell out. He charges at me, I reload...Time slows down.. I peak out and put a full mag of 9mm into his chest as he puts 1 Round into my face with what later turned out to be a AKM. As we both Dropped to floor in our last few breaths in a gentle voice i say "i got you too bro..i got you too". Love this Mod. Thanks for reading Sorry if it was long.

Not a pro or anything close to it but i have found i like running around the vast open fields. Reasons why. A buddy and Myself happen to be Skipping along a Forest line When we spotted a dear stand at our 12. Laughing about the loot we found in it (tin cans) we notice a military zombie in the valley next to us walk out from behind some random bushs/trees. We make our way around to get a better view of whats on the other side. It was a Helicopter crash. Wonderful loot. We headed back to our tree line to get going when to our left almost out of range we saw another one. Needless to say, This game Has loot Everywhere Just sometimes your lucky sometimes your not. We where in the middle of no where (cuz i got us lost as nav). Also Player tents!

Sorry if this isn't the Right area. A buddy and myself have been playing this game for a week now. Everything is going great up until that douche DDos attack. Now today we both can not get into a single game because it says we are on a bad version. We have updated with Six updater and we find our servers with six launcher. (We both Bought the game with steam and have had no issues until today) was wondering if anyone had a fix Also we both downloaded the latest beta patch 94444 i think it was. thanks for your time.
