In my opinion we should just drop the typical "QQ" about bugs and hackers. The mod is still playable as it is, there's an incredible stand-alone version of dayz coming up this year and I'm quite sure I speak for almost everybody when I say I want that as soon as possible! Just let Rocket focus on the stand-alone. -

First off, if you can't even give your opinion on something without making a typical rage/hate post... you might as well keep your opinion to yourself. The fact is people enjoy these type of made up lore. It even adds a bit of mystery/fun for the new players because they don't know for sure. Also, Rocket wants to support this. Here's a quote from one of the interviews PCGamer had with him. "What’s happening with DayZ is that the lore, the stories, and these player legions… They’re being generated by the players. Like the Black Widow and Dr. Wasteland. The Mountain Dew. It’s lucky to find it but unlucky to hold onto it or drink it. So all this stuff is coming out. I want to find ways of supporting that. I think growing that element, that initial little genesis of this entirely player-driven story world, is something I really want to see." I think its "fucking sad" that you feel the need to judge these people like you just did.

No matter how you use your cheats/scripts/hacks. You are and stay a cheater and got what you deserved. -
The best way to clear the zombies around the chopper is to either use a silenced weapon or a pistol. The reason why there was only a box of medicines is because someone probably found the chopper before you did, or you didn't look around good enough. (I'm having a really bad time trying to find the weapons as well. :P) I don't think the weapons can actualy spawn inside the chopper but they do sometimes spawn inside its tail. You cannot repair these helicopters. Each server has only 1 actual flyable helicopter which is a bit different from these crashed helicopters. The best way to spot the loot is to stand quite far away and use binoculars or a sniperscope to spot them, after that u know where most of the guns are u can go closer and try to find them.

The L85A2 AWS was a great choice. I would've done the same. It helps you spot players because of the themal vision. This way you can gain an advantage on these players or just avoid them with ease.

Nothing IN the doghouses, but quite some items floating in the air near one. -
You're problem with the current state of the mod is "hackers". These "hackers" will be mostly gone in the stand-alone because Rocket can actualy do something about them. You'll be back!

I'd go for the AS50 simply because of the scope.
