I don't think eating/drinking is too unbalanced. My guess is that you are one of "those people" that camps around the shore or near balota/southern military camps. Right now, one run through the northern villages like Vybor will get you enough food/drinks for a couple hours. Besides, you don't even need drinks because there's water pumps in every village... -

Spamming whisper kick will get you out of pretty much anything if used properly. When you get stuck on rocks for example.

1. Get a friend and test it out with him. 2. Run around Cherno/Elektro with you mic button down, screaming out loud some Justin Bieber song and wait for people to tell you to shut up. Either will do. :) -
Please do not infect the standalone with your random useless game destroying features.

I'd say that Dayz has already reached its peak as more and more people stop playing. Then again, there are also still people who only just start playing (like you). You should definitely go for it! The Dayz mod is a great and unique (probably even next to the SA) experience. I've been playing it since its been out and I still love playing it! -
It is actualy Windows that does this. Just right click the sound icon on your taskbar and click on "playback devices". Go to the communications tab and make sure u have "Do Nothing" selected.
