I was very much against this idea when I initially read the thread title. However, the OP makes some excellent points and has changed my mind about it. I don't really understand the fun of hoarding however. The appeal of it is high initially but the more I play the less attached I get to my gear. I used to be so butthurt after I found a T4 pack and then lost it 15 minutes later. It gets easier to handle every death. I think it would be that way with every wipe if this was implemented. People would be so upset at first but I have a feeling they'd soon get used to it. -

Since this game is being hyped up as ultra realistic I see where people would have a problem with that. Also, I'm pretty sure people are aware that gunshots attract zombies.

I'm going to have to disagree. I've watched zombies spawn as soon as they were shot around a crash site and in town and both time people were using silenced weapons.

If you haven't read that it isn't allowed then you haven't read the forums. It's an issue that is clearly an issue, both for players and devs, and Rocket has a stickied topic directly related to it. It IS considered an exploit. It is being addressed.

I'm sorry if this is pretty much the noobiest post that has ever existed... but I want to change my name to Partypants Pete in game but I can't do it. I can create a new profile and name it that but it won't let me edit my name on the main profile. I've tried it on both the Arma2 and A:OA profile sections. Is this a bug or am I just mentally challenged? Thanks and sorry again for the extreme noobage. PS If there is a search function I didn't see it. Im exhausted and not really in a completely coherant frame of mind.
