How exactly do you trigger these animations?

Any way it was triggered by an overlay? I'm using the default TS3 overlay for instance and have been worrying a little about getting banned.

I'm very content with how it is and can only see a bright future. Rocket is the type of hardliner this game needs and we're lucky this is his project :)

Just google this: dayz gametracker "server name" You'll find the gametracker.com website for the server and it's IP which is listed there.

I only shoot when my mates or I myself are in danger (-1) Strong - need this for AS-50 (-1) Can wear a ghillie suit (+2) Not able to bandage yourself or others (-1) Sharp-shooter: Can use sniper rifles Cannot carry a 2nd primary weapon Anti-Materiel Rifle: Can only carry patrol pack I have a 2nd account dedicated to this character which allows me to enjoy the limitations rather than having to worry about losing a fully equipped one.

This is a great idea and probably pretty simple to implement. No need for mines or claymores which some noobs wanted. +1 - I hope this idea finds its way into the game :)

It sucks. Just like you if you're really considering buying this piece of OEM crap. Use google and learn something about PCs before you spend a thousand bucks on one.

I agree completely. Hopefully rocket will implement item IDs soon and wipe the complete database.

This is my way of dealing with tents. So far it has worked. The problem: - you place a tent - you place items in the tent - you come back some time later and the tent is empty I've experienced this bug several times now and I think I know why tents reset. When setting up a tent the game will not necessarily place it at an even angle and it tends to clip with its surroundings. I've placed tents on hillsides after which they were standing an angle of over 45° and after the first server restart they were standing at ~0° and had been moved. And this is most like why their content is gone, too. Either way I never use a tent right after I set it up but rather wait for the first server restart. After that + a manual save I've never experienced tent resets. A possible fix would probably be to force the game not to mess with a tent's location and to simply leave it the way it was placed but that's for a dev to look into because I wouldn't know how one would go about that ;)

To prevent item duplication should get a unique ID which would prevent it from existing twice. Multiplying items is so easy because the game has no way of knowing if an item should actually exist or not. (I searched for similiar ideas but couldn't find any - I also think that it's likely that this has been posted before).

Achievements are for casual gamers. If you want them then DayZ isn't the right game for you.

Are you sure you changed the resolution for both the menu and the game? Check it in the main menu of the game. You'll get there if you join a server and disconnect from it.

I know the feeling. I still feel guilty about my first sniper kill. DayZ is the one and only game that will make you do so, what a great experiment!
