Night time doesn't serve a purpose

Your eyes will adjust on a star lit or moon lit night and allow you to see fairly well. That being said ArmA does a good job of displaying this, if you dont see the change it's because you're not giving it long enough or you are looking at bright lights too often and the engine is resetting your night vision. On a dark night no stars no moon youre not going to be able to see, nor would you be able to see well in reality.

    Load screen city

it is rasman airbase on the takistan map. arma is a military simulator adapted for DayZ so you will not find that city on the dayz map
  3. "Night should also be literally impossible to navigate in. In real life in an apocalyptic world, you would need to wait till dawn to navigate." i see someone who has never been in the wilderness. 10 minutes in the dark and your vision will be close to that of daytime minus color and contrast which is quite well displayed in ArmA I think that ArmA(or DayZ) could do a better job of simulating the effect that being in the presence of bright lights would have on your vision, and cut the time from no night time vision to full night time vision to maybe 3 minutes instead of the average 10. The other stuff you propose would make the game unfun. You may as well propose a game where we have to sit in a cubicle and answer customer calls for 5 days before we get into the DayZ game so we get the feel of being a civilian.

make hunting for food a challange

Animals are not new and you can make animals do w/e you like its simply a matter of scripting them to do so, the more scripts to slower things will be so i imagine animals will be more rare if this is done.

    Dynamic Helicopter Crashes!

I would say slightly better loot would be needed in order to justify the increased risk of PvP

" This MOD is just becoming to hard to play ! "

i lost a 30 day old character today, when he started i had a mak so this was my first taste of no starter weapon. I made the mistake of going into town with no weapon...died. then tried to find a deer stand with weapons..died because i wasnt careful enough snuck into a barn, found a shotgun, agroed one...shot...agroed all...died. carefully found an m9 with sd rounds in deer stand..made my way to stary found an m16 with rounds..made way to nw airfield found an SD m4 with SD rounds....now i have all but the most rare gear back. lesson: yes starting with no gear can be tough, just be careful, pick what locations are worth the risk and which ones aren't. My advice would be this, deer stands find a pistol or rifle. CAREFULLY approach a supermarket here you should find all survival gear except an ax. find an ax in most any of the low yield indy buildings. You now have the ability to regain blood lost and will have a good amount of bandages and food supplies. I would sneak around into low yeild military areas and deer stands until you find a nice weapon preferably with sd ammo shoot as little as possible, avoid fields, anytime youre going somewhere with rare equipment possible(helis the airfield etc) play as if there is a sniper behind every bush and be very aware of your surroundings.
