I hate murderers. They're griefers. You see them in every online game, they're the people in WoW who will sit around a low-level zone with a max level character to get free kills and boost their ego. I don't hate bandits. The people who kill you because you actually have something on you of worth to them. -

It would reduce the amount of hacking by less than half. You may as well make the game playable only by those who are 18 and under, same effect. You wouldn't want it though, because that would be biased against you. -

Let them initiate. It gives you more control over the situation, and the people who shoot first will shoot first, while the people who want to group up with you will ask "Friendly?" -

I've always wondered where people got these statistics that children are the ones who hack/grief/exploit etc. It's a phenomenon that I run into on any online game I've played. It seems that the people who believe in these imaginary statistics just assume that everyone who does poorly is a kid, usually because of the stereotype associated with them; ie, playing CoD and Battlefield all day and screeching over the mic. And it's simply not true. It seems to be a case of, when you lie to yourself enough, you eventually start to believe it. -Sincerely, a 15 year old kid. -
I imagine that you could do it if you were ambidextrous. Would probably be difficult otherwise, though.

I imagine that there wouldn't be many wrecks in a zombie apocalypse. It's not an earthquake, the cars wouldn't crash any more than normal. I also imagine that the military wouldn't just start driving tanks through the street at blowing up shit.

Clearly you didn't pay enough attention to The Walking Dead. In that show, when you're far enough from the cities, everything looks normal, apart from the zombies. And really, what could you do to show evidence of a zombie apocalypse, other then a few boarded buildings, and, of course, the zombies?

Perhaps tear gas as a non-lethal grenade? Semi-rare at military loot spawns?

How do you loot outhouses? Whenever I open one, there's usually a lot of goodies in there, but I can't pick any of them up because the door is in the way. What I mean is, that when I use my mouse wheel to check the loot, the only option that comes up is to open/close the door. What am I missing? Edit: Wow, just realized I'm in the wrong forums. I could have sworn that this was General Discussion.

I think that you should be able to vault over barbed wire, but you'll take some damage and possibly start to bleed.

Crafting is fine, as long as it's simple and minimal, like a Molotov cocktail. Things like a grinding wheel are not simple.

Arguments about realism and authenticity here are pretty silly. Both the current and the suggested ways to regenerate blood are equally fictional. Eating beans after you got a cut doesn't give you all your blood back, and it takes a long time to regenerate blood naturally. So, argue about this mechanic from a gameplay perspective, not a realism one.

Even if the average man is more powerful, physically, than the average woman, it's easily possible for women to become just as powerful with training. Earlier in the thread you said that these are average citizens. That's clearly false. It's survival of the fittest, we can assume that most of these survivors have had military training, are hunters, or are in some other way trained to be adept at running, firing guns, and a plethora of other things. After all, I doubt that the average person can fire a rifle, or run a kilometre.

I haven't been able to find much food, but I've got a ton of drinks. In my character's pack I probably have at least 5 sodas and 3 canteens. Meanwhile, I only have 2 cans of beans and 1 can of pasta. I guess hunting is a lot more important now. -

I only help people if they're unarmed. If they have common guns, I'll just avoid them. If they have military gear, though, KOS. When I kill them, I rarely take their gear though. I leave it for other people. Think of me like Robin Hood. -
