We had raided those military tents earlier in the day, and one of my friends decided he wanted to raid them again. They took a sedan, and I happened to be fairly close to the town in a field, prone, afk for like 5 minutes to get a drink ( I didn't log out ). They actually didn't take any fire while in the tents, but right as they were getting into the car to leave they started taking fire from a sniper. The engine was out on the car, so it ended up exploding. I spotted a UAZ parked next to a treeline about 200m or so away from me. I didn't have a sniper, but was in a ghillie with an ak-74, so rather than taking shots from that distance, I prone crawled till I was about 30m from the UAZ. I saw there was someone sitting in the passenger sear, either the shooter or his buddy waiting for him to get back. I unloaded into his face, and SOMEHOW he gets out of the car, takes another couple bullets, collapses then disconnects. I stole his UAZ though, thats what the bitch gets. I didn't see his name, but there was someone on the server named Stary Sabor sniper. Funny, If I would have seen that guy was in server before they went to raid the tents I would probably have told them not to hah.

For me the tents haven't been eating my items, just duplicating. This is annoying because the tents have been put in a spot that's nearly impossible to see unless you know they are there, BUT when they dupe on top of each other it makes them WAY more easy to see. I would just store all my important stuff in a car, but I've heard they glitch and delete as well. Or someone could steal it. Good luck finding it though haha.

Well, today on US ATLANTA 27, me and a friend saw some guy in a deer post and my friend started shooting, he logged out immediately, while bleeding on the ground. Bitch move. Not sure if you aren't supposed to name and shame on the forums, but this guys name was Mr.Fox Not 3 hours later, my friends were raiding the military tents in Novy Sabor, and on their way out in the sedan, they were fired on and all 3 died, whoever shot at them ran away, but the car was destroyed. I was in the field in a ghillie suit and I saw a vehicle in the distance with who I believe was the shooter in it. I creep up on him, within 30 meters and unload my ak-74 into his face. SOMEHOW he gets out of the car, I shoot him again and he disconnects. Another bitch move. Didn't see this guys name, but I did steal his fully repaired and fueled uaz. Thanks bro, I'll take that over the sedan anyday.

When I started playing this game, I started to make friends, and actually got a couple guys I met in server to join TS and start playing as a group. Thing is, when I actually attempt to contact and talk to people, it's usually when I'm not geared, because EVERY single time I've had anything decent on me and try to show players I'm friendly, I get shot. I play pretty late night though, maybe it's because most people don't speak english when I play? I dunno. First example is, I have an AKM and binocs, decent gear, food, water, medical supplies, nothing AWESOME but at least a decent setup. I am right outside of a treeline in a field, and my friend is right inside the tree line with a sniper. I see two guys across the field from us, and I can see them looking at me with binocs. I salute once or twice, then run back and forth and vault a few times. This is to let them know I know they are there and I'm not shooting. I inch closer and closer, and still saluting and vaulting, and tell the in direct chat that I'm friendly, and over VOIP. Two seconds later, one shoots me. Doesn't kill me, or knock me out, but it breaks my leg. As soon as my friend hears the shot he destroys both the guys, and we go loot the bodies. When I said I had medical supplies, I mean everything but a stupid morphine injector. So I had to crawl all the way back to my tent. That was fun. This same thing has happened over and over, and I'm at the point now where If I have something decent on me, I'm not taking a chance anymore. Raided NW airfield last night, saw A lot of zombies inside a building, and could hear flies so assumed that there was a dead player body in there. I walk in, open the first door on my left and there's a player right behind the door with a magnum in my face. Twitch reaction was to kill him violently with the axe I had equipped. He didn't shoot, but he moved, I think he was reloading. Probably the saw and 400 rounds he had just picked up. Case and point, nearly every time I've tried to make friends I have died. Everytime I shoot first and ask questions later I stay alive and end up with better loot. Sucks, but that's the way it is.

Last update from the devs on twitter was 5 hours ago saying the main server was stabilized but individual server owners will need to restart their servers. I haven't tried yet, because I have to work, but I will when I get home and I hope it's fixed, I really want to play ;p http://twitter.com/#!/dayzdevteam

Same here, I've been trying to get into servers for over 30 minutes now, and every server just hangs. Also, I can see tons of people connecting and disconnecting. :(
