I'm sure precautionary measures are being taken, but really won't know until the game releases...you have to think, there are tons of hackers in the world that will be attempting to implement a hack at 12:01am of release day. (that is assuming that DayZ will be a midnight release)

looking for help, i was recording my other adventures on here before yesterday with no issue besides the fps drops of fraps. so i decided to go into nvidia control panel and mess with the adaptive settings a bit for my cards (sli gtx 680's) avg fps w/o fraps 90fps pending on forest or city, with fraps, my frames would drop between 15-30 fps...but the play back was exceptional since i had it 60 fps in fraps settings. anyways, i went in and set the setting to performance because i noticed that when i wasn't running fraps my cards were running at about 75-80% usage and clock speeds were at 1097 which is no where near my OC (1333mhz). once i hit my hot key to start recording with fraps, my cards drop down to minimal usage (364mhz). after i changed the setting to use performance usage, my cards no go all the way up to 1333mhz and my fps is at 120 avg, but now fraps won't even record or take screen shots. i've re-binded my hot key and even tested it out on bf3 which it works, but not with dayz. if anyone can help me i'd be greatly appreciative!

skype isn't that bad...we usually have 5 people always on skype playing and it works flawlessly.

use skype or teamspeak. steam is just horrible for in game voice chat.

I think it has to do with the new beta, that's the only thing I've downloaded, and I'm still on 1.7.2.4. Worked fine the day before yesterday no issues whatsoever, now it's just retarded.

this has been going around to majority of players. i did it 5 times yesterday, Rocket hasnt even acknowledge anything about this, he's so worried about artifacting right now...i could care less as it doesn't effect me.

i just don't like the running back to camp or wherever it was you logged off just to do it again.

is this problem still happening? i'm getting really annoyed with having to run and avoid other players. not logging in until this is fixed

i've had this happen 4 times to me today...this is unbearable, and i don't even h ave 1.7.2.5, i'm still on previous version, the only thing that updated today was beta for me.

around the truck area, you should have maybe spawned 10 zombies or so

haha, i had a 2 buddies get on that same ship wreck, they were able to walk around on it, and then all of a sudden one got a broken leg and was bleeding. the other one went over to try and heal and give him morphine and as he was crouching fell into the water and died. ship wreck...approach at your own cost. and yes there were no one else there, i was watching them in a heli. hovering 5m high, would have been an easy kill on me versus those 2 guys.

lol it didn't despawn, you guys just forgot to save it after you were done with it. any vehicles that aren't saved will get back to the location of where you found "x" vehicle that was saved previously. you did however get lucky on the chopper on the at the island with it being all green (unless you fixed it before you started recording), all the ones i've found there required tons of maintence work so the fuel doesn't leak out.

bugged, have you tried putting it down and picking it back up?

in a real zombie apocalypse...we would be zombies...and there would be no internet.

so question, if you have those 2 dlc's, of course on your screen you would see the better textures, but the other people playing the game w/o those 2 dlc's, will they still see you as a green blob?

so would camping stary sabor or nwaf make you a man?

fn fal is only rare if its the anpv fn fal, not the regular fn fal, i would have kept the dmr personally, but to all their own. now its time to get rid of that patrol pack so you can carry 2 weapons (alice or coyote elite)

I'm almost 99% certain that you were the person that sniped my buddy in stary sabor grocery store with the as50, proceeded to run down to loot him, and i shot at you and you dc'd. how i know this is because when you dc'd, i hit "P" to see the player pool, and at that time, there were only 2 guys not playing, Gamer and Owen. You dc'd to move to most likely the hill north of stary with the broke down car. while i moved towards the hill south of stary sabor...in game might i add. good job server hopping to get to a spot where you thought i was, and then to scan the surrounding areas. kind of wish you actually came at me the real way to see who would have won that battle. also this post isn't to bitch or whine, just simply calling a player out...and of course i dont' have video or anything so in that instance i'm screwed. and if i mistakenly ID'd the wrong player, my apologies, but it's just coincidence that you happen to be in game playing at the time of my death since player Owen wasn't even on the server anymore. MY BAD "GAMER" IT WASN'T YOU

to set traps...and then said player that fell for the trap will whine and moan, and shortly the chalk will become useless, much like the x's on the in game map.

apparently someone else failed at escaping that location as well besides you and your buddie. towards the end before you die, there was a dead person halfway sticking out of the tree 2:08
