    i was literally just in a server, at camp, logged off because i was catching 35fps, when usually i get 90-100fps. went to arma2 mp server launch, get teh error, that it's down for maintenance, close the game and went to six launcher, servers were there, went to click on one to join and all of them disappeared. anyone else have the same issue?

    also they're very rare, i think the statistics on mt dew is/was 876 cans to the 200k+ players in the game.

    if you're jumping from the same deer stand to a different server, sometimes the loot won't spawn because you're too close. must be away 30m+ for loot to spawn. same theory applies for loot farming. also i believe this is frowned upon...

    un equip bino and put rangefinder in your primary inventory. actually just lose your binos, no need for them anymore.

    it's a pain in the rear...what i do is go crouch, hit g to open up gear and move around slowly right clicking on the tent to place it on the groud, process can be anywhere between 15 seconds - 5 mins, it's weird but i'll happen.

    here is where war z will win, all the people that are used to playing CoD will go play it, where a realistic mil-sim is non existant, just shiny weapons that where you point and shoot, sniper rifles can kill from across the map, run and gun, and "safe points" protected by NPC's...sounds like an open world left4dead in my opinion. dayz will live because of the realism of mil-sim. i'm staying with dayz where a I don't have to dump a whole magazine into a guy for him to kill over.

    lol i got kicked off upon entering the UK server...awesome! was on last night wiht the beta before this, now with this current beta, i get stuck at loads and i'm filtering by 95208...smh

    trust zombies, not players. at least you can run from a zombie faster than a player. also, not all buildings are enterable, so don't go to all the buildings looking for an entrance.

    ...its not hard to snipe at 1k m+ luckily this mod doesn't have the wind to take into effect like the ACE mod does. but a static player at 1k is just as easy as a player at 500m. if you have issues hitting a moving target downrange, suggest you download the ace mod and hit the sniper training, moving target at 500 all the way to 1000 i believe.

    thats at 500m...go longer and you'll see the difference...and by longer i'm talking about 1000+ meters.

    ^^this, AS50 gun paired with M107 rounds, the bullet will drop off at distance as seen in the video above.

    this has been the cause for me as of lately, it seems that if you're on a more populated server the loot is better, low pop servers you get the run of the mill ak and an occasional m4 cco. thats just my opinion though

    i believe the AS50 scope is not "scaled" correctly whereas the mildots for the M107 are perfect and you can range on the fly. could be wrong but I read this somewhere else where the AS50 mildots were giving people inaccurate ranges using the mildot technique.

    my little brother finally figured out how to ride a bike... what does that have to do with this thread? absolutely nothing because it's pointless like this one. here's an idea...if you can do said hacks, and are frustrated with the game, how about you join the dev team and help them out with the hacks so they can make the game better?

    very nice post! running sli 680's under water and when i first got the game i was grabbing like 20-40 fps, went in and tweaked it a bit but never did what you said to do and was running at close to 90fps avg. after i changed the 1:1, cards are getting 110 avg. you sir have my beans.

    lol can you imagine the glitch that could cause? what about the people that log off by said hotspot and return back to play at a later time and all of the sudden they're "500m" away? this is a reality that we're gonna have to just live with until Rocket figures out a way to stop the dc'ing, which really there isn't a way to stop it...

    as50 round does a lot of damaged compared to using that of a m107 round. always good to match the as50 with its own round but its so dang difficult to find the ammo. i come across more m107 mags then i do the as50. it's an insane difference, i believe you can find it on the dayz wiki page. normally both a 1 hit kill anyways on a person. lol i tagged a guy in the foot since that was the only thing exposed and he died...then dc'd to prevent me from looting his body.

    lol stop running around all CoD like and you won't get touched. if you do run up hills in a zig zag motion or find a barn and go inside one.

    at mook...hopefully you had an alice or coyote elite pack, as anything else carrying 2 weapons would take up 20 slots. if you try throwing 2 weapons on your patrol or czech pack it'll just disapear. as to the anpv fal....how do you engage flir mode? i've only figured out the nvg, also does it have laser sight like the l85? ...actually here's a trade i'm willing to make, 1 anpv fal with 1 fal clip, for any camo suits, doesn't have to be ghille...i've searched from berenzino all the way to nwaf the other day going as far south as novy and stary and can't find a dang suit anywhere, i've even resorted to looking in dog houses and chicken coops.

    as50, you can use m107 rounds for it, which are easier to find than the as50 rounds. fn fal anpv is only good if you actually play on a night time server, and when i did, i only used it for the night scope.

    i think its due to the connection to the server, one person in our group is always slower, and she appears to be running really quickly, but her ping is crazy high sometimes. when that happens shes slower then all of us. there have been reports as to if you're red on the hunger or thirst meter it hampers your speed, but the thing about the weapons is completely false. search dayz mythbusters and you'll see it proven.

    good concept...but think abou tthe night owls that play the game...i would start running on the edge of the map killing every person "sleeping" cause majority of everyone things the edge of the map is a safe zone for some reason.

    its there, just gotta search some more. i did kill a sniper yesterday in full gear with a ghille suit. just when you find one, better make sure the server you're on is connected to the hive with the right version otherwise you will lose everything once you log off.
