Dont worry, it's a bug already known by many Arma 2 players. It will not kill you. Didnt see the fires on DayZ but i know them well from GITS Evolution Mod (lots of damaged vehicles, if you reloggin you migth get that flames). It has something to do with the chopper. Just restart your game and it should be gone. Greets

I believe it was some "Takistani" Model from Arrowhead. So it was a hacked NPC or the Hacker himself. On Eu #404 one of our Guys got chased by two Priests in the middle of nowhere. Very annoying. @Rennalin Strange story but... i often spawn with white skins (just a few seconds). Maybe he logged in behind or on your position. But this does not explain the black robe =/

Try Gits Evolution mod and lern to fly a huey, practice distance shots with the dayz weaponary

@van1tY It was about 2 weeks ago. i was there too. hiding in cherno to snipe players from the industrial roof (yeah, shame on me i know) to try my new svd camo. suddenly i heard a chooper starting and i saw the Mi8. some facts that it was hacked: - the mi8 was prealpha only - he crashed before - he asked for passengers (you migth remember that) after he crashes he took off behind the construction site in cherno. i remember his name, i don't remember yours, but i remember the situation and i remember your conversation. its funny to see that it was filmed for youtube. very nicely done but stay away from hacked stuff (= many greetings from germany
