@kilsalot - The clouds always travel eastward so use those as your compass, you should be able to run back to the main map area in about twenty minutes. -

Make water easier to come by, but like mZLY said it should have a chance to make you sick if you do not boil or filter it before drinking. -

I found my first bike the other night, spent about two hours just cruising around from town to town. Was big fun, sadly after stashing the bike up north and hitting save on it the server i was no poofed and i have not seen it back up again, so bye bye wonderful 40kph traveling. -

@Manta_Avoid - I think you misunderstand, its not respawning after death that people are talking about in this thread...its being warped back to the coast from anywhere on the map simply because they changed servers/lost internet connection or the server they last played on is no longer up. Far as your comment about swimming...umm you do know you lose your backpack and all your gear when you swim, yes? Read the thread before you post would help. -

One problem i run into often is server admins who screw with the game time vs real time settings, so i join a Califonia server in the middle of the afternoon and the darn game is running at 2am and it is pitched black. No i do not wanna fumble my way around in the dark so i instantly look for a new server. If that is reasson enough to make me risk spawning at the coast....I will just stay logged off in till this is fixed since clearly snipers will be drooling at the chance to camp the coastal area now. I can accept losing my gear, that does not make me want to lose my gear for no reason. -

One time purchase for core game with buy to play map packs that include new weapons, npcs and vehicles every six months or so to keep the game feeling fresh. Maybe bring on Coke, Pepsi, Red Bull or other outside money as a source of income for the Dev team, could have ingame billboards and of course consumables promoting the real life companies products that also exist ingame. Just no F2P crap where little kiddies with a parents credit card can buy high end weapons and such, that would undermine everything that makes this game good. -
Sometimes you need to wait a really long time for the Loading the Creating Character screens, seems worse in the current build than before.

Anyone else feel zombies still aggro heavily?

In my opinion they have shifted agro to far towards sight and to far away from sound in the current build. I consider myself a very sneaky player but lately I have been getting zombies agroing from a block away or more while moving slowly and carefully but at the same time I have fired off my revolver in one of the super markets and did not even get a rise out of a couple zombies outside on the street not thirty feet away. Currently solo players entering towns are taking a pretty major risk even if they are extremely careful while groups of idiots running around shooting up the place take less of a risk since their gun shots do not pull half the city like it used to. Some adjustment is needed. -

Just logged in to find my character has somehow contracted a flu or whatever even though my tempeture never once dropped below 42 degrees while playing today. Having random agro issues from zombies at distances of over a city block while crouched and moving at walking speed, even at night it is easy pulling agro with zero sight bars and just one sound bar from zombies over twenty feet away. The zombie agro would not be an issue if not for the fact this game spawns them all around us as we enter cities and towns in areas that had zero zombies as we approached. Kinda hard making sure i "avoid their eye sight" like the know it alls will say when the f*cking zombie did not exist five seconds prior and agros on me almost as zoon as it spawns. In my opinion the best fix would be to make zombies walk instead of sprint when they detect a almost hidden player, even the undead would not be dumb enough to run full speed at every little noise they hear or shadow they think they see moving. -

I would favor dropping the bone breaking punches in exchange for being infected in its place, much more realistic and still has the same effect in the end...medical supplies or you are f*cked,
