Logging off close to a tree can cause you to end up in debug forest, theres quite a few rumor posts floating around about it...

Sorry if this has been asked before, i didnt get much joy out of the search function. How do i enable my server to stop people who have "no tree's" loading in? I heard that you can enable some file checking thing... Bit of a noob to looking after DayZ servers but would like to keep it fair for everyone. Thanks

Hi Guys, I purchased a server and it was up the next day which was a pretty decent turn around, the only problem is nobody can connect to it. We can get in to the lobby but the game sticks at loading for everyone? I have raised a ticket which is #790394, please could someone take a look? Thanks

Hi, I have just had a new server setup on the latest patch. Nobody seems to be able to connect to it though, everyone can load in to the lobby and the server seems to be really quick however at the final "Loading" screen, everyone gets stuck. Any ideas? Thanks

I just got killed by some random idiots who have been stalking us on our server, they ghosted into our camp at an exact location, killed a couple of us then Alt F4'd. Being that i have admin/log access, can someone please tell me what log files i need to prove this? its really getting quite silly. We already believe they have been running around with some kind of god mode... but without proving the person in question missed, its very difficult. As it stands they are bending the rules beyond belief, i'd just like to prove whatever it is they are doing? thanks.

Fuck it, i will just ban him. I am sick of this lack of rules/code for players and admins crippled by threats of blacklisting.

Thanks for the reply but... Ghosting to gain an advantage is allowed? I.e. changing your location on one server then connecting to the server you want to be on in desired location to shoot honest player in the back? This is absolute nonsense if so.

Why dont you just post some server logs of him hacking? ;)Or maybe you dont have any? Without wanting to tar you with the useless/abusing admin brush too soon, all you have done so far is avoid answering his initial questions/queries and not provide any proof.

I had a similar affair last night which saw my several days of terror come to an end. I play on the Aria server as Chriis fwiw. The last couple of nights i had been having a bit of fun around the NWAF Hangars and Barracks. Thursday night i aggro'd a zombie which i chose to shoot as i hadnt seen many Z's or players in the vicinity, bad idea... 15 or so Z's which spawned when i entered the area but hadnt spotted flooded me and after i had disposed of them all as well as survived the concussion and bandaged i had 153 blood! I fortunatley managed to crawl to safety where a friend assisted with a few steaks and by the end of the night i was back up and running. Friday, having been alive for to long without any real entertainment other than picking off snipers around Elektro and Cherno i again went for NWAF. This time i was just checking out the goodies in the SW Barracks. The server population was no more than 15 and i managed to get in undetected so i thought... "thought" :) on my exit from the Barracks i peek my head round to see a bandit crouched behind the water well, as soon as i put my head out his piss poor aim took off half my arm rather than my head which allowed me to get some cover in the doorway, quick to finish me off he prone rolled right into my crosshair and i put him out of his misery with a nicely placed headshot, where i then lay still for 10 minutes waiting to see if he had any curious friends or backup. Eventually i feel safe enough to leave and make for the tree line, ignoring the body/loot and make my way towards the west of the map, a 2.5km later i am now in no mans land approaching a Forest + a cow, winner. I kill the cow take the steaks and head to the Forest to harvest some wood for my fire, when what do i see? Mr fucking random and his winchester staring down the barrell at me, boom, i'm dead. Happy looting son. His spoils for his "not so deserved kill" shall we call it were a Coyote Backpack, AS50, M4A3 CCO, M9 SD, Range Finder, NV, GPS + all other base equipment and a tool kit. I have died a few times in DayZ and usually in some event far more entertaining and pleasing than this, none leaving me feeling as "meh" as i did last night, sh*t happens i guess! So i respawn and sneeking around Cherno with several other fresh spawners gave me that rush of Adrenaline i'd missed somewhat... so alls well that ends well.

Yes thanks for stating the obvious with the big red letters, but is it down for everyone, or is it ok for those currently in a game just down for those wanting to connect?

I'd vote for a wipe of everyones items as well, so much hacked stuff is floating about. It isnt like its the end of the world having to find stuff again, infact its half the fun!

Raging is just lame, accept death is a massive part of the game and don't get attached to your sh*t and you will eventually one day, enjoy the game for what it is. I got nailed in my hatchback last night driving down to Elektro :-D thankfully i had only been alive a few hours before finding it and a further two hours getting it going so i didnt lose to much time or inventory on the random explosion that killed me! I had sound off so may have even been sniped, couldnt say for sure.

Pretty much as the topic says, i was playing for about 2 hours earlier then randomly got disconnected. Upon reconnecting i get kicked from every server in seconds with the above error message? I have been through the BattleClient FAQ troubleshooting page, reinstalled it, replaced it with the dll off their website, rebooted, etc etc etc and i cant for the life of me fathom out why. I have also tested without Firewall/AV just incase it had suddenly become blocked. Anyone got any ideas? I cant play right now and it sucks :S

Ive had some success on the US servers (im from UK) but i get kicked eventually...
