Be nice to have AI neutral zones (survivor communities) that will punish pvp or place bounty's on murderers. of course this would be probably in the independent Dayz game. Doesn't seem at the moment that there is any friendlies in game. Just a huge death match map. Be nice to have more loot locations as well.

I feel your pain. More often then not I've been killed by a Zed warping right on top of me while laying motionless and prone. Also killed by players sniping. The more cool stuff I get the more stressful the game gets so I'm kind of relieved in a strange way after dying. Starting new having nothing to lose seems to take the edge off. All the same I would like a PVE option or at least known PVP zones. The game seemed to become a large scale death match with Zombies being nothing but an obstacle and not the main theme. Should rename the mod to DayPVP with a bunch of assholes. =)

First experience in loosing gear beside the backpack being lost in water. I lost my gear after the DDOS attack. =(

Thanks for the update....yeah, looks like I lost 4 days of gear bye bye AK-74 and now I'm naked and surrounded with Zeds. =(

I don't know if this is related to the DDOS attack but after finally getting in to a server my AK 74 was in hand but no aiming and it wouldn't fire. I reloaded and the gun vanished from my hands and inv. WTF? I have a lot of stuff on this char with 2 days of game play. would suck to get killed and loose all that to a glitch. =(

Yes, it's down because DayZ central node/server is still under attack by DDOS (Distributed Denial-of-Service). It's an illegal act of flooding the servers network with bogus request that it becomes too busy with all the BS it slows to a halt and I hope the person responsible gets it up the ass.
