If it isn't up to snuff, then there is no way a 6670 is gonna do it on minumum settings.

Hi guys, thanjs for taking the time to read this thread, I'm in a game and I'm at te supermarket and it takes 1 minute to pick up things because its so laggy. it also periodically freezes. I close Six launcher and settings are set to low. I don't have a beast of a computerbut it should run it. specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core-Processor
4GB of RAM
XFX Radeon 6670

I have and I've only found 1 instance where its exactly like mine. It plays fine (40 fps) and than every 3 seconds a freeze that lasts 5 seconds.

2 months ago... Is that bad?From your description it sounds more like a hardware/heating problem then network/game problem....

No one has replied to me even though I've posted this 3 times. First off, Specs:

I'm getting 30 fps usually but every 3 seconds, huge lag spike hits me with lasts for 5-10 seconds. And I mean the game totally freezes. But other than that, 30-40 fps. PLEASE HELP

My Dayz won't run at all. Too many lag spikes. Can someone tell me why? It might be CPU overheating... idk

Could you tell me how you fixed this? I have the exact same cpu as you except I have an HD Radeon 6670. Oh well, But what did you do?ok so looks like ive fixed it,it was my cpu overheating.Cleaned up the heatsink and fan,and put my house fan blowing on it to keep it cool

I have adjusted my settings to the lowest but I am still getting frequent lag spikes every 5 seconds.. other than that its smooth like I would want to play. To this point it is unplayable. Please someone help.

I downloaded ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead while back and played, now I got a new computer and when I try to play it says... "There was an error launching Arma2 With DayZ. Please check your settings, verify your game directories, and try again. Details: The system cannot find the file specified. Any ideas what's wrong? Thanks in advance
