To sum up what i'm about to say, or if you CBA reading the whole post "This whole game is just one big BUG" After now 3 months of playing DayZ it has became ever more apparent that nothing in this game works, i mean literally NOTHING. I understand the whole Alpha stage argument and all that sh!7. But seriously can someone tell me one thing that's actually flawless? Inventory menu:cant drop items on floor without half the time it disappearing. Choppers: IF you can fix it and not still have a fuel leak then it will simply re-spawn fucked again after server restart Cars: eat inventory, don't save gear, auto repair themselves. Tents: eat gear and duplicate. Hackers: able to kill everyone and drop them from sky. Guillie/cammo clothing: Wipes your entire backpack Graphics: make game unplayable with artefacting near military areas. Log in: could be killed and respawned on coast with NOTHING.... Depends on your luck! this is a scavenging based game and not 1 single "save" item works like its supposed to, meanwhile developers are busy adding loading screen pictures... WTF!!! I have not had any problems in the last few days so this is not a butt-hurt complaining post but one which i hope gets seen by the people who can change this BS. I love this game and it has so much potential and if it costs £100 to buy in future you can still count me in, but CMON show us you understand whats going on and show us your taking it seriously! RANT OVER!

EXACTLY!!! Forget the BS fancy stuff that has no operational function and sort the fundamental aspects of this awesome game that's making us want to walk away so soon, not because of boredom, but because playing and gathering gear is POINTLESS when you loose all your gear that took 2 weeks to gather due to a bug. Or the the fkn little dweebs with round spectacles in desperate need of a haircut hacking the servers so easily with no official acknowledgement from dev team on the issue.

Yes they definitely can. Happened to us (we have our own server) these 3 russian guys who we owned on the NWAF somehow spawned WITHOUT BEING ON SERVER and i watched one of them run into what used to be their vehicle. I killed him again before he could drive off! We were miles and miles from the original incident and the one guy who came to get the old vehicle had no night vision and no "nothing" it was the dead of night and even with gamma up full it would have made no difference. Completely impossible for him to get back to our camp after we killed him not giving our camp possition away but he would have had to walk over 10KM! IMPOSSIBLE! Hacking needs to be taken seriously by the dev team, so far ive seen NO ACTION! GET IT SORTED!

Same here, lost tons of stuff mainly rare weapons. Yeah its still an Alpha, i get that. But stop playing about with gun balancing and helicopters and fix the more important issues.

Yeah our very conclusion, but the guys in question have since contacted us and pleaded their case very well. They sound like nice guys and a hacker wouldnt bother about getting banned from a server where he can hack any other server, right? They say after we killed them the three of them went onto a russian server and played like normal and at the time of the incident were in game on that server. Im still very confused,

Its important to add that the player Disconnected and did not return to the server after we killed him the first time, so when he showed up again 45mins later in pitch black he wasnt on the ingame players list. He couldnt see it was black as hell and he ran past me so that confirms he couldnt see, but im supposed to believe that he ran from the coast like he was magnetized to the vehicle. No looking around or nothing but he got into vehicle and jumped straight into back seat which was where i shot him in the face. No sound of flies but a dead guy in the back seat. after "check body" it said "the walking was killed by..... (blank space) WTF is going on. He had "nothing at all" on him, no bandage,flashlight or anything. And again he was not on the list of players in-game since we killed him 45mins previous. One thing i should also mention was when i shot him the message "hold your fire" appeared in blue writing down in bottom left of the screen like he was a friendly AI spawned player or something. VERY VERY STRANGE. There is simply no possibility that he ran to the vehicle after he respawned so that theory can be ruled out completely.

To introduce ourselves first, we are a group of long time friends. All European, mainly UK. We have our own website and Teamspeak and are in discussions regarding a DayZ server but no decision yet been made. We are 11-12 men strong at the moment, however with only 3-4 online at one time, we are now looking for like minded gamers to team up/join with us. We don't want screaming kids over the mic, so either mature or adult gamers need apply. check out http://1hw.co.uk and look at recruitment section and apply as instructed using the template provided. To make clear our intentions, we generally shoot-on-sight human players/survivors as not doing so in past experience has ended with us dying first. We want to get a camp sorted, perhaps a few vehicles and tactically take the valuable areas such as Stary Sobor, Airfield etc. No strict rules as such, just be willing to do whats needed to work as a team, and have fun in the process.

ok me and another of the admins will be reviewing tonight's applications and making a formal decision in the next hour for most of the applicants. however people who "seem to have no real experience" will probably be rejected. Basically we dont want to be going around with noobs (no offence intended) who alert everyone of our presence and get people killed for being clumbsy. this does not mean that we dont want to hear from you ever again, we ask you to play some more and get used to the physics of the game and re-apply in a couple of weeks when your a little less like the term "fresh meat"

We dont have an age restriction as such, but we dont want people screaming down the mic in teamspeak. If we were to put an age on it it would prob be around 16-18 minimum but if you know how to act in a teamspeak channel without pi$$ing other people off then your free to apply.
