I am the latest version on arma and dayz. The server the same from what I see. It is weird. I can get to the barracks area on the east side of the nwaf looking south. Right.about there it freaks out more then it has before. As we drove by down the road north of the balota airstrip. Anytime I looked southeast the video wigged out.

Well, it seemed like an improvement at first with the graphic problems. I was able to go into Stary and loot the tents no problem. But when we made it up to the NWAF. Everything went to hell. Granted it was better then last patch. I could actually go in a bit into the airfield until extreme issues. When I started having problems though, then it was worse then I have ever seen it. I tried all the common band aids, nothing seemed to work.

I have to agree with the video issues. It's just a little frustrating to be.in the heat of.battle and die due to not being to see what is going on. I cannot believe some patch wasn't pushed out faster to fix this.

No. Plus at this time I'm.not sure a lot of servers have switch yet. I usually wait a couple days or weeks until I update arma. It doesn't seem as important as the dayz patch version.

Yea I don't use the filter concerning different arma version. I don't really understand the significance of arma2 patch. Seems like as long as the dayz patch was good. You good!

I thought the arma patches were backwards compatible. I am always playing on servers with older arma2 patch.

1. Getting a feel for what buildings you can enter was frustrating for me as well starting. The buildings that can be entered will look the same from village to village. Take your time and learn. 2. Right click on bandage in your inventory. You get one to start the game.

Tents are supposed to allow us to have a place to put things. However, they are the buggiest thing ever. Unless you want to throw the items away, I would not use them. If others had better luck i would like to know.

Yep 40 meters. That is mot very far, es Especially if someone is firing at you while you are in a tree stand.

I dig the attempt but depending on the distance he might have not heard or saw your chat. The direct communication is swear is only 30 to 40 meters. I need to check wiki and double check.

Yea the first night of playing I was hooked as well. It helped the fact I found a bicycle along side the road and decided to go straight through all of the coastal towns. They trail of zombies I had was amazing. I also ended up locking the direct communication not knowing any better. I was blabbing in game the whole time as I was riding through town I am sure amused some people. Not really covert ;)

Well, you can use alt to free look. That way I can pan back and forth without having to turn my body all the time.

It's kind of funny to see your frustration. I have felt the same way. However, you just need to be patient. Once you find that server that works well. Never forget it!
