    Show backpacks with ghillie suits.

    This should definitely be implemented in the full version along with better vest pouches so you'd really have to choose between huge storage and stealthiness

  4. Yes I can make the game upen via Six Updater, the problem is I cant use any interfaces if I open the game via sixupdater. That one seemed way more complicated to fix so I decided to try and fix this one
  5. So I bought arma2 full and the error still remains. I see if it works after re-installing arma2 OA and re-installing dayz and the beta patch
  6. I tried re-installing DX and arma 2 OA. Maybe it'll fix itself if I buy arma 2 full version? Was planning on making this game more pleasing to the eye and it's for sale in steam
  7. Thanks for the reply. When I try running it via your .rar it gives an error regarding shaders and path not being valid
  8. I am more worried about losing my 2 ghillie suits, antibiotics, m24, all ammo and food to this new patch. Just fell thru the world after putting on another ghillie after my first one was destroyed
  9. Lost all my stuff due to new patch. I fell thru the ground to water where my weapon and all stuff except toolbelt got destroyed somehow
  10. Crossbow is a terrible weapon and wont help you if aggroed Go for the godlike enfield

    There is a spooky ghost bus stop in the middle of nowhere in a forest
  14. Dont run across fields, try to move in the treeline to avoid being detected Deer stands can usually be found in the treeline next to a field, there are just a few zombies around the stands and they have a decent chance of spawning a firearm, survival tools or ammo
  15. More than punishing the players who kill players constantly maybe they should discourage dying repeatedly. Like if a player dies x amount of times in 1 hour their respawning would be blocked globally for another hour. Not maybe the best set of time but the general idea of punishing repeated deaths is something I'd love to see. This would also make people do less respawns at start in order to get better starting spot. Or simply increase death timer so after dying it will take some 30 minutes before you can respawn. Maybe even add a mechanic where if a friend secures your remainings or something you could respawn immediately encouraging teamwork even more and really hurting those lone wolf deathmatchers who die really often
  16. Did you even attempt to comprehend what he had to say? If you get shot first it means you were in the wrong place, you let your guard down, you were taking a risk. I have been alive for about 20 hours now, i've played total of 30 hours. At start it seemed impossible, I got shot over and over again near the cities. Then I teamed up with a friend, looted a hospital and headed north. My friend and I got ambushed near stary sobor, we lost alot of our medical supplies and never caught the shooter(s). After that we headed for NW airfield, we spotted 3 guys with better gear looting a barracks, we opened fire at them killing two and the last one disconnected. My friend died in the process. It was the only time I had shot anyone during that trip I feel like I can stress this enough, killing players is a big part of the game yet you have tools to avoid it if you choose to. The grass cant be disabled and still players are almost impossible to see in a thick brush. This game does not need artificial method to make killing players less rewarding, it only needs more things that you can only do with a teammate
  17. You are implying that there should be a penalty for killing players. In my opinion that's stupid. Only thing that should be stopping a player for killing another player should be the idea that they can achieve something by working together, then they would get the feeling that they miss on something if they just shoot everyone and dont team up with anyone
  18. Isn't the fact that they are shooting multiple players indicator enough that they are not the most mentally stable ones? I don't like what this whole thing would do to the small player hunter packs who roam and kill lone groups. They work together and are completely sane, yet they choose to murder people to boost their own chances of survival, i don't see why that should be punishable by any means A player who keeps killing players and does not cooperate clearly sees players only as a threat, therefore he does not need to necessarily see them as zeds, it's just his moral compass that has gone haywire, not his eyesight

  20. Stop making stupid threads already. All we need is a bigger cake for teamwork, then people will work together to get the cake. Simple as that
  21. The decreasing sanity thing is not really needed because a mentally demented person wouldn't even be able to tell if they are demented or not therefor seeing everything normal. The positive side is great though and would encourage teamwork, full support to that side. Maybe even add an option to share food/water with your best buddy?

    What’s DayZ's biggest reward?

    Surviving a full on zombie zerg rush in the middle of a night with a friend in flarelight, back to back. There were around 50 zombies who swarmed us as we were looting a barn. I threw down a flare and we locked down the place with our lmg's, zombies just kept on coming but god bless those 100 round mags and onehit kills We have found a few heli sites and looted NW airfield, neither felt as good as the atmospheric encounter of a horde in the red flarelight. We haven't found vehicles yet, maybe those will prove out to be as exciting
