Probably lag. Yesterday I saved two guys in the Elektro church by shooting a crowd of zombies using the 1911 and they all died in one shot. -

MRE's, make them rare but give a high amount of blood. They could be looted at military sites. -

The article in the OP says September. He also mentions standalone releasing this year in this interview: http://www.gamebreak...hall-interview/ And it wouldn't have to be in beta status, like the article says it's planned to be like Minecraft - release as an alpha with free updates.

Rocket has said the standalone version is planned to be released later this year, so I don't know how it could be based on ArmA 3's engine when it isn't even finished. Maybe the standalone will be ported to ArmA 3 somewhere down the line.

Just so you know, you don't have to stop and turn to look around. You can hold alt to swing your head around while you're still running.

In real life your eyes eventually adjust to the darkness, in DayZ they don't. -
I once found 3 corpses inside the southern barracks of the NW airfield, they all had DMR mags totaling about 10 all together, and one had a DMR. Also one of them had an ALICE pack.

Yes, try markets. Look for the shopping cart icons on this map: http://www.dayzdb.com/map Compasses and maps share the green pouch graphic on the ground, so look through every green pouch you find. -

No, for one thing ArmA 2 would need to be ported to consoles. But even then you wouldn't be able to play DayZ since consoles cant use mods. -

I think all character data is stored on the hive server, and your character is tied to your CD key. So if you delete the game and later reinstall you will still have your guy. -
Seems too good to be true, I have a feeling they broke something which has caused performance to increase since that feature isn't working.

I've seen Rocket's skin in one of PC Gamer's streams when they played with him. Yeah it's the red beret, but with woodland camo not desert.

I've witnessed the same thing. Also a lot of times when I fire my gun only a few zombies will come running, the rest just stand around.

24 slot backpacks still spawn, in the NW airfield I've found them in barracks, hangars and the fire station. -

Lol how could he get the drop on you? He was still loading in, you probably could've killed him while he was stuck at "setup complete, please wait". Also it's your own fault for hiding in a spot that you know server hoppers frequent.
