It sucks. I used to play on Los Angeles servers since I'd get low ping, now I don't even know which ones are based there.

I heard that they might add radios to the game, so people with a radio can talk to each other in global chat. -
Go to the NW airfield or Stary Sobr military camps, I've found a couple M16A2 with M203 grenade launcher attachments.

How are you killing zombies without being detected? Whenever I get within a certain distance they attack me no matter what, even if my visual and sound indicators are at zero.

They're supposed to be diseased humans, not undead. So headshots shouldn't be the only way to kill them.

I don't feel bad killing people, especially since most people I come across shoot at me first. It's always a nice surprise to come across someone who says "friendly don't shoot" and actually means it, because we both walk away with our lives.

Performance in towns seems to be noticeably better. -
I saw all the coverage from PC Gamer, and I figured a mod getting such exposure must be worth trying. I already owned ArmA 2 but not OA, so I bought Combined Operations to play the mod.

Try deleting the mpmissions folder in Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\your name\Saved

I've been experiencing the same thing today. One of my guys was on the road to Zelenogorsk, the other is still near the beach. Also I don't know if this is related, but whenever I enter buildings that should have loot like fire stations and grocery stores, nothing is there. Not even empty tin cans or whiskey bottles.

It seems to be the probability that you'll be seen. It doesn't just take distance into consideration but also your stance and speed, terrain, time of day and weather.

I just found one in a church, I don't remember the name of the town I was in but it was south of the airfield.

Is there a way to use the flashlight if I have a primary weapon? It always makes me drop my rifle if I want to equip the flashlight.

Global channel can be seen by everyone, I think this only works when you're in the lobby. Side channel can be seen by your allies, I think this is disabled. Group channel is for people in your squad, not sure if this is disabled or not. Direct channel can only be seen by people in your proximity, this one isn't disabled.

Have you tried joining different servers? I've noticed that some servers run smooth and others give me godawful performance.

I think the mod restricts written and verbal communication to people in your vicinity only
