Don't let it get you down bud. Just chalk it upto a learning experience. It's alpha...some weird shit is gonna happen. Nothing you or we can do about it. Don't let small things like this stop you from playing a great mod! Besides, the more you play it...the faster you get. Once you learn how zombies react etc..it wont take you 3 days at all! -

In short...yes. Nothing you can do about it. Happens to lots of people...lots of the time. All you can do is learn from it, and in future try not to disconnect when you see any of the chain links. :( -

You should NEVER disconnect when you see either the yellow or red chains. Wait a few mins till the chains are gone...THEN disconnect. -

I would atleast phone BT or whoever your line is with. Complain, tell them you've changed ISP and your connection still drops out. You have nothing to lose by atleast mentioning this to your phone line provider. It's even possible it could be your microfilter or your cable to the modem from the wall. Try a different microfilter and cable too if you can. Also if you run a long telephone extension cable...this can cause drop outs too. Or so i've read.

It's got nothing to do with your installation as far as i know. I would suggest changing your ISP, but you've already done that. At least get a test on your phone line by an engineer. You may have a bad line/weak signal. This can cause "drop outs". I know this as it's happened to me. I got BT to test the line and it was faulty. You can also ask them to turn the gain up, which i believe boosts the "signal strength" of the line...but i'm no engineer...so not 100% sure. Note...if they test it and find no fault...they MAY charge you!

Yes your in the wrong! Disconnecting whilst getting shot at is the easy way out. And no it wasn't me shooting at you :) I often play on UK01...when it isn't locked that is...which is hardly ever lately :(

You have to resave vehicles ANYTIME you put something in them. Add a new item to the vehicle inventory...save the vehicle...add another new item...save it again etc. -

I'd have to be in game to get you proper full co-ords.

If it's not in the wiki, it's prob hacked. I just looked and it's not there. Just the normal M4A1 Holo :- http://dayzdb.com/database/m4a1-holo I may be wrong, but i'd say it's hacked and to not use it incase you get into trouble for it. -
If the battleye install doesnt work, there is the manual option. I know you've said you've tried this too...but did you put the .dll into the right folder? there are actually 2 battleye folders in ArmA2 :- C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\BattlEye C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Expansion\BattlEye from what i recall it should be put into the expansion folder one! Obviously the folder path/locations may be different on yours.

Server GB-1 joining causes death!!

It might have been one of these servers with a private @hive. If so, because the Hive files (what store your character info/inventory etc) aren't the ones from the dayz devs themselves...it will make a new character. Try joining a different server, and check to see if it has the @hive. Either that, or bug...defo. -

Didn't Rocket say that the wire fences, tank traps and sandbags where just a test? I recall him saying in one of his inteviews (video) that the wanted people to be able to build things. But saying as though most people just use them to "grief" loot spawns, i wouldn't be surprised if they are coming back out. Especially with the talk of underground bases etc. So i wouldn't expect them to be changed. I may well be wrong. he may well have changed his mind about them. I appreciate what your saying, it should be relatively easy to do...although i'm no coder! But then maybe we would just end up with ALL VEHICLES being horded even more than they are now? -

Yes i'm getting it too. Running 1.7.2.3 with the 95249 patch. I went onto 1 server and got kicked with some battleye error #64 or something?? Then went onto another which had the wrong time in the description Tried to join one more and got the message. :( -
Do you have anything worth keeping? Or losing for that matter? I'd just hit respawn if you don't.

LOL I wouldn't shoot a totally unarmed guy. It's a waste of ammo. And you never know who might hear the gun shots and come to look for you. Maybe he tried to shoot someone like you? You know...another guy who called out friendly and fired? It's your game though, shoot away if you want. Not for me to tell you how you want to play. :)
