Seems to be a few more people getting caught recently. Which can only be a good thing. I'd like to think that soon there will be a mass ban wave again...i live in hope. Some funny stuff though.

Yes! It's called a life lesson. You did something wrong...now take the punishment for your actions. I'm sure it sucks for you. Maybe think a bit harder before you download a cheat next time.

I think the devs are well aware of the scale of the problem. Just look at every other post on these forums. Your petition will do nothing. And i'm sure this is grief the devs can do without...right at this moment. -

What is going on with this server lately? It's constantly going off without any warnings. They used to at least warn you (5 mins) before the server restarted. I know if the server crashes it's just one of those things, but it seems to be happening an awful lot. Restarting lots, and being locked alot.

You cant get into trouble for "picking up" a hacked weapon. They're just going after the people that actually hack it in. Not unfortunate souls like you who may happen upon one on your travels :D -
NO From what i know, you need at least 5 murders before your classed as a bandit. Well from what i've read on these forums somewhere anyways.

I'm the same. Never duped a single item. Worked hard (raiding heli crashes, barracks, airfields) to get my stuff. Or made trades to try to get stuff i cant get myself. Not all of us dupe. The sooner they fix this and the tent bug, the sooner weapons & equipment can get back to being as "rare" as it's meant to be. :(

deer stands, military places, residential, barns, stores for water canteens. also check zombie corpses, they sometimes have odd can of soda on them. -
Agree totally. Six updater just doesn't work for alot of people. DayZ commander for me too.

Go into your options in the main menu. Then controls. Delete all the bindings for the always run on key. (it's probably in the infantry keys list) assign a new key to it...might help "clear" that its on.

Double tap shift to stop it :D Double tapping most keys in ArmA2/OA/DayZ will toggle it constantly on. Hope this helps.

A team of 6 of us went to Green Mountain...only 2 of us made it out alive. We lost 4 good players that day. I will never go back there again.

This is why DayZ is good. I love the bad encounters, just as much as the good ones. If everything was too safe, and eveyone could be trusted...it would be too boring. The tension of possibly being killed 5 mins later by someone you just saved is great.
