    Thankyou good sir. PBX is awesome, really really fast. And pretty good on fuel too. You will need about 2 or 3 jerry cans full of petrol to fill the tank right up on the PBX.

    Yes. Because DayZ runs through OA. If you can't run OA...your not going to be able to run DayZ in my opinion. What are the specs of your machine? You'd be better off posting those up so people can see.

    Hotfix Build 1.7.2.5 Rolling Update

    Tried to do some more playing at the weekend to test latest patch :- DayZ mod files 1.7.2.5 & OA 95883 patch. 1) GFX artifacting still present. No matter what video memory settings i use, or what object detail i use. The flush command also does absolutely nothing for me personally. 2) Ammo still magically replenishing on logout/login 3) Log out in one place, log in to somewhere totally different. I can handle all the bugs. But the graphical glitches are just making the mod a headache to play. Please for the love of god, just remove the dead soldier bodies and barbed wire until they can be fixed properly. I'd rather have a playable mod without the cosmetic dead bodies, than a mod that suffers from the serious gfx bugs and makes alot of people not want to play. :( Not moaning, or crying. Love this mod...just frustrated that the last patch seems to have made things much much worse.

  8. Hi all, This is just a simple post to say that our gaming community is looking for DayZ survivors! We are a small community of 15-20 people, playing all kinds of games. Most of us are from the UK but have other members from Europe/America. Our ages range from early 20s 30s and 40s. We don't care if your a good player or not. It's more important that your a nice person and up for a laugh. We play games for fun and relaxation after all.     There are only a few basic rules to DayZ. Don't cheat/hack/script Trust no one Don't server hop for loot. Don't alt F4/Disconnect in a firefight. Basic common sense and fair play i guess. :thumbsup:

    Still glitching for me too. I'm near the hospital in Berezino, where there are soldier bodies etc. At first it was fine. Zooming in normally was fine. Started zooming in with my scope and a small few gfx glitches appeared like before (only when zoomed in via the scope though)...only lasted a millisecond or so. Then got worse, artifacting staying longer and longer. Used the left shift & - key with the flush command. Still does it. Same sort of artifacting as before..big triangles/polys corruption. Specs FYI Rocket & co :- AO Beta - 95819 DayZ mod - 1.7.2.5 Windows 7 64 Bit i7 quad @ 2.8 ATI 6950 Edit. I also deleted all previous DayZ mod files. then downloaded via the torrent file. :thumbsup:

    Item "duping" & "dupers".

    A think a complete stats/loot reset when 1.7.3 comes out wouldn't be a bad thing. Fix the tents so items can't be duped. Then clear everyone stats/items. Everyone will back on an even keel, no more duping...so rare items will be just that. :D I have Rangefinder, Ghillie, NVG, etc etc etc. So i would lose alot too. Not bothered though...stuff is far too common now.

    Have to say, looks very nice. Hopefully night battles etc will be awesome. They look so much better in the above video compared to ArmA2/DayZ night time. :thumbsup:

    Voted no. Won't kill anyone completely unarmed. Wont kill someone with an axe if out of swinging range. Will do the moment they get too close though. :D

    Standalone: Why be excited about Arma 3 engine?

    It's a very valid question. And one i'm sure the whole community will be interested to hear. I'd like to think it will be an end to all the problems of trying to hack dayz into arma2. Like zombies going through walls, legs breaking for no reason, deadly ladders etc etc. Obviously superior lighting (ArmA3 lighting looks awesome) and hopefully underwater sections too. And probably higher details models etc in general (more efficient engine). Hopeully an inventory that doesnt feel "shoe horned in" too would be nice. Not to mention a play area twice the size. From what rocket has said...the Arma3 engine (or whatever variation of it they use) can have maps play areas twice that of chernarus. So 500 km roughly! But the standalone was only officially announced yesterday. There is all kinds of speculation as to what engine the standalone will use and what it can do. We will just have to be patient and give the devs time to get feature lists together etc. I'm sure Rocket has been very busy lately what with meetings etc regarding the standalone. Not to mention trying to get patch 1.7.3 out the door. Can't wait to see more info myself though.

    Sounds like one character was connected to the real public hive and another was just connected to a private hive. That or bug, what else can it be.
  22. This has been mentioned so many times. There is a thread relating to it in the correct area of the forums. http://dayzmod.com/f...graphical-bugs/ Try putting your Video memory setting to default in the advanced menu of your video options. Works for some! :thumbsup:

    Try to head out into the north. plenty of barns etc, where you can get :- axes, shotguns, rifles. :D There are also deer stands that may have weapons. But your going to need at least an axe to get near to them. hope this helps

    Are you low on blood? Whats your bood count at? If you have low blood, you will fall unconscious at random intervals for random amounts of time.
