No. Might as well lock the thread to stop the crying and bitching. We all have to suffer the glitches, vehicle and tent bugs. Yet most of us do not post in this thread. No amount of asking for the patch or general impatience will make the patch/mod files get released any quicker. With some of the rude abusive comments in this thread...some of you wonder why there has been no reply? -
Quick question, do i need 1.60 or 1.62 Arrowhead update?

Just install ArmA2 & OA or Combined Ops whichever one you have. Then install the 1.62 OA patch. Run ArmA2 once, then run OA once. Then download either DayZ commander or six updater. They should both download the rest of what you need. (DayZ mod files, and the latest OA BETA patch. http://www.dayzcommander.com/ http://play.withsix.com/ Hope this helps :thumbsup: -

Not really. World War Z: An Oral history of the zombie war is a 2006 horror novel by Max Brooks. This is a follow up book to the Zombie survival guide (also by Brooks) which was from 2003. And i'm not defending WarZ. personally i don't think it's going to be anywhere near as good as DayZ. Just educating you about your name copying statement!

You humanity is persistent too. So you have obv. killed a lot of people with some of your previous characters. Stop killing other survivors everytime you play? And start killing bandits and giving morphine/blood transfusions to start getting positive humanity. You have -130k for a reason! -

I think a lot of players are just having a break from the mod. At least until the stupid gfx glitch is fixed, and the hacking dies down. As for the mod dying...no...i don't think so. -
humanity/temperature stats not showing on debug monitor

Not sure why your humanity doesnt show (i'm assuming your running 1.7.2.5). Temp was removed a while back. 1.7.2.3 i think ?? Can't remember to be honest. -
Yeah, nametags sucks I'd suggest Veteran, as alot of people don't like the map showing people or nametags on. I know alot of my friends avoid regular servers and servers with nametags on. It's obv. your choice though. :D Edit - your also running an old OA patch. About 4 versions old or something. Not that i care...but it may also put people off.

Yes. It's just the new graphic for the axe. They used to be red. They look a lot older/more used/weathered now. When they lie on the floor, they still show as the old axe with the red bit. But when you wield it, it's shows as the greyish bit from what i remember. I may be wrong though. Edit - Already replied to by lots of people. Damn you forum lag. -
I dont know why this hasn't been done by the dev team already to be honest. As much as i'd love to try this, i think i'll wait for an official fix in fear of some weird BE ban!

Yeah, i wouldn't be surprised if the sheer number of new users/people logging in is responsible. It was faster months ago, but then as i say...there has obv. been a lot of new people join the foums. Overload! Time to get a bigger forum server DayZ forum staff? :D

Nope. It's always been slow for me too. I hope they sort it out soon. Sometimes it's like being on a dial up modem waiting for the pages to load. :(

It's either been discovered or the server has restarted. There are alot of posts about vehicles and tents not saving properly on server restarts. So it has to be one or the other. Poor Eddy, all alone somewhere!

I've been killed by hackers about 4 times now. All times have been when i've been geared up, with Ghillie, Rangefinders, NVG etc etc. All i can do is laugh about it. Yes it sucks, but making yet another pointless thread about it? Hackers are like terrorists. The more people that give them coverage/attention the more they will do it. THEY WANT you to cry and post threads like this. The sooner everyone just ignores them the better. Hopefully they will all piss off once the next "big game" comes out.

You could always download ArmA2 FREE version. This would let you check to see if the game will run at a decent speed, and see if you like it. If so then buy ArmA2 combined Ops! And download the FREE DayZ mod :) Link to ArmA2 Free. Hope this helps :- http://www.arma2.com/free

No. You should get humanity, i.e it goes up if you kill a bandit from what i remember reading/being told. If i'm wrong someone will post to correct me.
