Yes it is rather refreshing. Most of the community are patient. It is just the very small minority that demand things! OMFG Fix it now etc etc etc. Some people just have no concept of ALPHA nevermind BETA. And you can have some of my beans to good sir.

It doesnt matter what directx reports back. He has a built in GFX card. Because of this, this processor would ordinarily do "the brunt of the work". But as he also has a very low speed processor...it just isnt enough to compensate for having a shared GFX card. All he can do is run everything on the lowest settings and the lowest screen resolution that he can possibly get away with. No amount of tweaking is going to make it much better than what it currently is.

The specs of your laptop just arent good enough i'm affraid. Your going to need something more powerful than a 1.8Ghz Processor and a built in GFX card. :( I'd recommend at LEAST a 2.5 Ghz processor and a dedicated GFX card. MINUMUM SPECS FROM MY ARMA2 Box :- Dual core intel pentium 4 @ 3.0 Ghz, Intel core 2.0 GHz, AMD Athlon 3200+ or faster. Ram 1GB Video card - NVidia GeForce 7800 / ATI Radeon 1800 or faster with 256mb ram. As i say these are the bare minimum specs. And your laptop doesnt even meet these. :(

He means an unfinshed version of the game will be released. In an almost Alpha state. People buy this for a cheaper price, and the game is fixed and updated to a standalone product in a few months of being bought. Hence like minecraft did. Hope this helps!

DayZ | Hacked Weapon, banned or not?

You can not be banned for using hacked in weapons. It's only the person that hacked it in that can be banned. But this wont stop some server admin from banning you. It will just be from that server though, not a global ban. -

Yeah, make sure you VON (voice over network) & microphone is not disabled (slider right down to the left) in the audio menu. :thumbsup:

Well this is kind of in already. You can contract the virus, and you need antibiotics to cure yourself (these are found in hospitals but are very very rare). But it only drops your blood to 6000, and no 24 hr timeframe. Personally, I think it should kill you.

100% agree with this. A complete stats reset is what's needed. It's the ONLY way to make sure all the hacked in and duped items are deleted. But please please make sure the tent/duping bugs are 100% fixed. Please for the love of god! Rare should mean just that.

All servers should have the sig/.pbo checking anyways in my opinion. It's ridiclious that people can just remove grass, trees, rocks & buildings.

I understand that the wirefencing and sandbags were put in as part of an experiment to see what people would do in terms of building. But saying as though the zombies can walk straight through them all, it was pretty obvious that these were just goona be used a griefing tools. That's just about all i've seen them being used for to be honest.
