I got a 900m shot yesterday on a server with quite a lot of fog, to the point where the target was not visible with my m107. As long as you have an L85 to spot with and your target is stupid enough to remain stationary, fog doesn't matter in the slightest.

I decided to fix up my first chopper using the minimum materials (1 rotor, 1 scrap, and 2 jerry cans). Anyway, it got off the ground fine, but apparently 2 jerry cans aren't quite enough to make it to the first place to refuel. As soon as I got over land, it ran out of fuel and the engine shut off. Anyway, I ejected from about 200-300m up and figured I was fine once the parachute opened. I have parachuted out of choppers in both the armory and other Arma 2 mods before from this height before and have always landed without problems. However, when I landed on a completely flat surface in DayZ at normal speed, my character died immediately upon hitting the ground, with broken legs showing but still with 12k blood. Is this normal, or did I just get unlucky? Fortunately, I spawned 3 Valleys and was able to get my gear, but it was a pretty shitty way to die on day 9.

I have seen people do it on stream before, although I realized it was risky. Honestly, I just wanted to a fly a chopper since I found the one on my home server 2 days ago fully fueled and only missing a main rotor at Podeba Dam. I was teleported to Elektro upon a login, found a rotor, ran all the way back to the helicopter. When I say all the way, I mean 600m from the chopper, when the server restarted and it disappeared.

I can attest to this not being correct. I shot some guy from 600m in the chest yesterday and he walked it off. Didn't alt f4, so my respect goes out to him though.

Well, I died after a 3 week survive yesterday because some dumb cunt teleported everyone to 1 spot and killed them, so I feel your pain OP.

You obviously knew it was hacked but used it anyway. Yes, you technically should be unbanned, but you honestly deserve it.

I've gone there about half a dozen times on full pop servers and only seen 2 other people who weren't with me.

Died after a 20 day survive yesterday under similar circumstances, got up to 12 murders, eventually fell due to a risky run close to Cherno. Congrats to you Mr. DMR, well played.

If this happens, you can report the admin for admin abuse if this happens. You cannot be banned for possessing a hacked weapon, only spawning it yourself.
