The intensity of Utes cannot be argued against. My first experience was the day it came out on a night server illuminated only by the fires of helicopter crashes, while 40 survivors armed with FALs hunted each other down.

Implying a rabbit chase has never lead to fatal detection by zombies or other players.

I would support a return to old damage values. They are quite of balance now. For example, I logged off in a bad location and found myself logging in next to someone with a Makarov. He fired a whole mag into my body before setup was completed, and I ended him quickly with my M4A1 CCO while only losing a few thousand blood. On the other hand, I killed two players with only one mag of my Makarov by shooting them a few times in the head each. The body shot damage should be comparable at the very least to the current headshot damage, since right now, it is a joke.

The map is fun survival wise, until some cunt kills you with a humvee or heli. They are way too OP to just spawn together and repaired.

I actually had to suicide today because of some wankers barb wired the entire firehouse on a private hive server so that you could get in but not out. Good thing I didn't have anything.

Wouldn't it be nice to keep all the rage, frustration, and butthurt in one place? Even I sometimes would like to post the occasional topic complaining about how much x, y, and z piss me off. People post rants all the time anyway, so why not try and contain them so other discussion boards can have more thoughtful topics?

Just zigzag like a boss and you'll be fine. Having sniped and been sniped at, hitting a moving target is quite challenging, assuming you aren't running directly at them. If you are killed while running, you might as well appreciate a good shot. -

This happened to me in DayZ Takistan. The server restarted, I was killed upon login and logged out afterward thinking "that sucks". I logged in the next day and found that I was low on blood and bleeding but not dead, even though I had seen the you are dead screen. No knockout timer either fortunately.

Honestly, this community ban list sounds like an awful thing. From what I have read, it is actually hard as hell to get removed if it is a false positive, and a ton of servers use it. I would hate to have to spend $30 on a new copy just because some butthurt admin managed to convince whoever edits the list that I was hacking. Criminal justice systems all around the world are modeled on the idea that it is better to let 10 guilty go than to punish 1 innocent. This list is pretty much the opposite. -
I don't see the point of this weapon. The only way it would be worth using is if it was ridiculously overpowered (why used a pistol with .15% ammo chance?).

Just saying, US 1337 is a terrible server. I found a GPS in the firehouse in Cherno, and apparently, that meant I was "item hacking", which appeared next time I logged on. Never was able to get in contact the admins.

I play as a black character and I remember once being shot at by someone on a server with side channel. I had planned on not killing him, but after he fired at me, I killed him. I asked him why he shot at my in Side Channel, and he said although he wasn't KoS, something about me made him think I was a bandit. Life is tough in Chernarus as a black man (I'm not actually black though) :(

Well, it seems that the sickness brought on by low temperature in DayZ has mutated? What has changed? You can catch sickness at any temperature now it seems. I was running around the NWAF and was exiting the last barracks, when I heard coughing. I assume it is the stream I am watching, but upon further inspection, my blood is indeed dropping. It seems I have managed to become sick while there was no rain, I was moving around, no one else was nearby, had a normal temperature, and had even applied a heat pack 10 minutes prior to free up inventory space. So just a warning to everyone out there, carry some antibiotics, I've never had this bullshit happen to me before this update.
