So I installed windows 8.1 and now I am having an issue. When I join a server after about 2 minutes I start not being able to switch weapons and then I get a red chain. It last for about 5 minutes then goes way. The one time I saw a player he was running in placed then he teleport away. Any ideas?

Alright I figured out what happened. When I installed windows 8.1 I copy my old steam install so I wouldn't need to redownload dayz. Well it turns out that I had to do that. Now I am running with no issues.

It happens when you log into the admin panel after a certain amount of time. Its normal

Be careful with the logs its possible that any script you see for him may have been ran by the hacker. since there is no way to stop client execution

Yes or make it spawn less often. People get it stuck in walls so you can't remove it and then its stuck there for the rest of life of the ID

You will not need to buy a new copy of ARMA. But I am a little confused are you looking at getting a desktop or a laptop. For gaming there is no way to beat a PC in raw power and price per performance.

it has to do with the difficulty settings on the server. Go to the ARMA2OA.cfg located in the same directory as the server.cfg file and adjust the values or change the difficulty in the server.cfg file to vet or above.

I know what you mean. I have a Phenom x6 1100t @ 3.7GHZ 8GB of DDR3-1600 and a GTX-460 and I still get fps raped.

If its a VM i will approach working it differently since they utilized resources differently. Yea it's happened to me with new spawns trying to kill myself to get the hell away from Kemenka and spawned in the exact place I died with the same gear.

It wasn't meant to be rude. Your server is hosted on a dedicated machine which is shared with other customers. I checked the machine in question and don't show any issues at this time. I just want to check to see if its a resource consumption issue. Or if its begin caused by the database on DayZ side. is there a way I can work with someone on the server during peak time. So I have some data to work with. If not I will approach it from the DayZ side and see what I can get. I just want to get it working right. If its a resource issue I have no problem paying more or getting a VDS if you guys provide one but I need some data before I am make that choice.
