  1. I think I must have tried to shoot my friends about five times now, but not because I'm a douchebag. It's because I can't tell if their one of my friends or some random survivor. Say you're travelling with your friends. Now, in real life, you would recognize you friends using visual cues such as facial recognition, the clothes they're wearing, etc. Now in DayZ EVERY PERSON LOOKS THE SAME to the players eye, but your character, who is a real human in the game should be able to recognize people. So here's what I propose: when you are close to a player, there is an option on the scroll menu called "recognize as friendly", selecting this will place a green marker over the player much like the green marker over survivors in recruit difficulty (the recruit difficulty markers for strangers could be changed to red). The green marker over your friends only show up when thy're in your line of sight and possibly after a short time of looking at them (the amount of time depending on how close or far away they are). This would make it way easier to be in a team and eliminate the confusion that might not exist in real life.

    Ideas for construction.

The problem with an HQ is that you would have no way of protecting it while you're offline. From the sound of it, it would have to be built in an open area with no obstructions. It would stick out like a sore thumb spray-painted neon. All your shit would get stolen and your base may even be occupied the next time you log on. While I do believe that the building system now is grossly abused, I do not believe that this HQ system is the answer.

    Separating ammunition from magazines

They already have something like this. You can use revolver ammo ad M1911 ammo and vice-versa, but an expansion of the system would be awesome.

    Pass out needs to go

A zombie hits you on the head and you are knocked senseless. where are you getting confused? Surely a "Medic" would understand the concept of a concussion.

Final Solution for the Sniper Bandits

This doesn't belong in the suggestions forum. It belongs in the "I'm bitchy, so do something" forum.

    Body Armor

Though body armour won't stop anything above a shotgun or pistol, I think this idea would work. If you could make it to an air field or a chopper, you could have armor that would protect you from a great number of close range encounters. It would be useful, but not too useful. It's a perfect balance.

    Logical suggestion - Remove NVG?

I think the low night time population adds to the simulation. Most people in a survival situation would sleep during the night, knowing it's not safe. If you have NVG's it's safer and a survivor might do night time operations because it is safe. I think that the NVG's add to the realism. If you don't want to die, don't go out at night.
