    Cheaters!

It's just the work of one or two really try-hard script kiddies from TKC. Most of the mod-appers there don't even do anything besides spawning ammo boxes and vehicles. It's the work of one or two twelve year olds with nuke scripts.
  2. Looks like some of the hackers are striking back in retaliation for the global ban.

Hope some people watched it before he deleted it.

    BRICE spawning weapons

http://www.twitch.tv/brllce/b/321157094 Brice blatantly hacking with some people at NW Airfield at 11:40:00. Ammo boxes, jets, helicopters that aren't in Day Z, even C130s.

    DayZ is a total success!

I think you meant to post in this thread: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9228. Nice edginess Brosef! Where is the like button xD?!
  6. This game is so exciting, the endless running around finding nothing but awesome gear and it is excellent how you have to find parts to fix a car. There is no teamwork in this game at all, that is what pleases me most about this game, the humans are more dangerous than the noclip zombies. It is meant to be a zombie game, but since I've been playing this game, I've only been killed 3 times in total by zombies, but hundreds of times by humans. Walking or running around for hours trying to find loot just to get killed by a human player makes the game stimulating and intriguing, There is no teamwork at all, except the voluntary kind where you never know if you are going to be backstabbed. I am definitely going to play this game more, it could have been bad had there been fully repaired vehicle spawns and a system where people are punished for PVP. My latest fun experience was tonight, I managed to pick up a good amount of loot and was crossing a bridge and saw a fellow player getting attacked by a swarm of zombies, So I went to his aid and help kill all of them and soon as the last zombie was dead, He turned around and shot me dead. This happens often in the game, I think it is wonderful, the risk vs reward element that forces you to think about your every action. My only complaint is that it is full of whiners who want everything spoonfed to them, If the shit hit the fan in the real world, It be fucking humans I be most scared off because humans can be either the most altruistic angels or the most dastardly devils.

Pzra's character is a monster. He's survived a helicopter crash,a car crash, and nearly bleeding to death while unconscious in the middle of a zombie infested Stary.

So I shot down a helicoptor today...

That's after we landed in a bunch zombies. It was as green as grass until I had to cut the engine to stop the infinite pirouette. Your shots did not do all of that damage while we were in the air, at any rate, this is a pointless thread, I'll not be posting in it any longer. I'll notify you later after I do a couple of tail rotor tests to see if you can indeed screw up a tail rotor even with green indicators.

Getting Pzra out from Stary proved more difficult than I imagined.

No, we did not "establish" either of those two points Trigg; 1. Your shots did not cause me to panic. The thing that caused me to panic was the infinite pirouette that was unaffected by either elevation controls or movement controls. In fact, I didn't even notice your shots as I was far too busy attempting to gain even the slightest margin of control over my helicopter. If we -do- establish that -your- gunfire actually managed to CAUSE the infinite pirouette, than that would be an accurate indirect statement. 2. I'm still not willing to concede the point that -your- fire damaged the tail rotor enough to even cause the infinite pirouette until I test shooting at the tail rotor with a weapon to see if even at green indicators gunfire can cause that to happen.

Guys, I'm fine with the morals surrounding the fact that they ambushed me. It's a danger I accept whenever I land a helicopter. This time, I didn't bring any of my normal support crew with me, I was just flying a bunch of random strangers around for fun. I knew that friendlies asking for help at the control tower was sketchy, but I went anyway. I still managed to sneak back in, kill one of them, sneak past their noses, repair my helicopter, and take off while under fire from them, which was extremely nerve-wracking but extremely rewarding. Please don't turn this into a morals thread. Players have the choice to do whatever they want in this game just like they do in real life; they can be the most disreputable denizen, or the most amiable angel, or somewhere in between, and I like that, it's what makes this game so exciting. The only real argument I had in this thread was over whether they "destroyed" a helicopter or whether they actually managed to force it to land. I know for a fact they didn't technically "destroy" it, and I'll have to experiment with the tail rotor to see the cause behind its failure. I'm not sure if it was related to damage as simply cutting the engine and restarting the helicopter was enough to get it flying perfectly again the other time it happened, but I'll give you the results of my tests sometime in the near future to see if the tail rotor is so fragile that it will stop working even with green indicator lights.

Thank you for that information. Something must have went wrong with the tail rotor then. It's odd, though, because I know I had full green indicators on everything until the moment I switched off the engine and descended to avoid a possible crash. No indicators were red, or even yellow, and I don't believe I became desynced from the server, and a similar thing happened to me before when all of my indicators were green a day or so ago. At any rate, I just flew around a lot more after this and didn't have any problems landing/taking off at all. How strong is the glass on the chopper? I had another encounter with a bandit while repairing a helicopter. He sniped me and my friend went to the pilot seat, and the bandit kept firing at the cockpit for quite some time with a CZ but didn't manage to kill him.

I'm not trying to take away your credit or anything, just to clarify what happened. Trust me, any "dramatic moves" I might have done would have crashed the heli rather than cause it to do a *perfect* pirouette, in place, for a whole *fifteen* seconds, without even trying to alter my elevation or to shift it dramatically in one way or the other in order to escape fire. I admit that it seems convenient timing, but that's the truth. You can believe what you want to believe about it, but that's what happened and it has already cost me one other helicopter before I figured out that you have to cut the engine to fix it. Perhaps I screwed up in judgment, but not skill my friend. Just wanted to do something different for a change. I had a lot of fun sneaking back in and taking my helicopter back from you guys as well. And Silverback, the only real "QQ" I had was telling them to try harder, the rest of my posts were just clarifying what happened.
