I tend to avoid ejecting out of vehicles since I attempted a bus on bus collision, ejected and immediately died. :rolleyes: Definitely agree on the 6 hour restart, without a stable server people will just leave.. if it wasn't for Caspar trying to make better changes then our group would have been long gone, the lighting on this server is the best around. It seems weird to me that you guys have big camps set up, if one of us loses all our stuff then it means nothing to us. We'd all die to make sure a vehicle is secured since you're only ever 1 lee enfield away from butchering players. :D Our last vehicle camp ended up 200 meters from a 5 tent city on the other side of the hill, since then all of our vehicles are split up in random places to minimize player theft (because that's our job)

Unplayable lag tonight that's only effecting the zombies. I'd shoot a zombie with a 1911 and instead of killing it it would just agro, in that particular case i shot it twice more at point blank with all 3 shots hitting and showing a blood splat, zombie then knocks me out and I die with my friend not able to do anything. Previous to that a zombie absorbed 5 shots before randomly de-agroing my friend and walking off, I should have logged off then. We also had a zombie agro from far away, run all the way up to us, take a shot to the chest making a noise, then turn around and walked off. On the bright side my long trip back to base in a straight line made me stumble into a players tractor which I filled up and stole, the jerk then fired a bunch of shots at me hitting me for a whopping 1k blood. :D A few minutes later I found a helicopter crash site with a 3 mag FAL and a M249 with 1 mag, so all I have now is a fine collection of vehicles and some heavy weapons, no food, no water and no equipment :lol:

Our group played a bunch this morning, amazingly one of our bicycles had survived several sever restarts.... our other 2 didn't. I found and recovered this ATV someone had kindly parked http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/578961482194729263/50124558896E91E6D591E0F0D54F3942C7B80391/ Deciding we should have 1 vehicle each and only ever log off next to the vehicle we searched for a third and ended up finding a fresh spawn ATV. Shortly after we found a players bicycle in the middle of the road and a players ATV in the middle of another road, presumably victims of a server restart when they were driving. Lag seems to be fixed and we could drive in a convoy without desyncing into each other, we currently have 3 ATV's and 1 bicycle (the 2nd had a fatal ocean related accident <_<) so we'll see if any survive a server restart.

The ATV exploded in a horrible barrel rolling for no reason on flat land kind of incident.... but at least we have 3 bicycles :D

Just keep trying untill you run out of fuel, it is possible. If you want me to help right it then send me a message/email of where it is. As for the vehicle spawns im pretty sure there are many spawn locations but only so many vehicles can be on the server. The vast majority of the servers vehicles have been taken and hidden somewhere by players, or have been destroyed/despawned and are on a random timer to respawn. This is why the vehicle despawning is such a big problem, our groups effectively destroyed over 10 vehicles and it takes a long time to spawn back in. If you find any vehicle then finding more vehicles becomes alot easier, but right now alot of vehicles are just destroyed. I checked around 20 vehicle locations the other day on a newly spawned bicycle but I didn't find any.

@mrbrain1 if you flip your atv you can flip it back over as long as you don't get off it. Step 1: Lets say the atv is on its side with the ground to your left, you hold down S and D then move your mouse all the way to left so the wheels are straight, you will then start slowly spinning backwards in circles. Step 2: While still holding S and D you then need a find a biting point with your mouse where the ATV starts to slow down, slowly wiggle the mouse around there and the ATV will start lifting off the ground, dont move the mouse at all at this point and you will upright. If the ground is to your right you hold S and A and have the mouse all the way to the right. Takes a little getting used to but its saved me many ATV's :D

Andrej we've lost around 15 vehicles on DE10, 4 different locations. Someone didn't simply steal a bus with no wheels and then kindly gave it back 2 days later. Of those 15 vehicles i'd say about 5 were stolen, it always happens when the server restarts.

We didn't have that problem on uk7, granted it was a few patches ago but we kept 3 vehicles alive for a week. The only vehicle we've kept for longer then a day is the bus that lost all its wheels and even that disappeared and reappeared a few days later. Its just frustrating to not be able to make any progress, my character has every equipment and 2 good weapons, whats left if vehicles are useless :(

It was a fresh spawn bike, and now its gone.... I checked the whole route I took and its disapeared, along with my friends boat. You'd need a miracle to keep a vehicle on this server for longer then 2 days

Another server reset and another 2 missing vehicles, would reseting the server more regularly help prevent this?

Yeah having vehicles can certainly mess up your play style, we hit up the coast in our ATV to grab some wheels for the bus (to get rid of it). Drove by a player looking for fuel at the coastal factory and we found his truck and stole it. We tested a theory on can trucks float... turns out they don't D= Moral of the story is don't drive your ATV through Berezino stopping at each place for wheels, eventually you'll die

Me and Zeroheat control alot of the servers vehicles, we don't set out to hold more then we need but we lose vehicles all the time between server resets. After logging in today our fully repaired bus has despawned and been replaced by our old bus that has no wheels and weapons on it (no I don't know why it has no wheels). Previously our minivan and ATV disappeared, then returned a day later on a hill, the ATV appeared in a different spot nearby. We've actually gained most of our vehicles from other players, stealing the same truck twice, bicycle, 2-3 ATV's, 2 pickups, 2 busses and a minivan. Hell they let me ride my bicycle straight up to their pickup outside Novy and drive off, an hour later I dropped my friend off to grab the bicycle, they started shooting at him but he was fine, next day I drove back there and grabbed the ATV they had flipped. =D
